With so many crosses Origi should of come on.
City will now go into tomorrow game on a high.

Mo isn’t exactly doing himself any favours for his contract negotiations is he. Been pretty awful all calendar year

You do begin to wonder but the form of Jota has also nose dived. If Diogo was firing like he was at the start of the season, Mo would be look less important.

Still think though if we can get some rest into him for Madrid we will see a goal from him in the final.

Not expecting F**k all with city at home and Newcastle on the beach.

The only slight chances of dropping points is the away games but can see a draw and not a loss.

Oh well - just have to try and win the cups as a consolation.

Obviously those buggers at Chelsea will be watching this game closely and I wouldn't be surprised if they take this Spurs stymie like game plan into account for the final. We also know Real won't play that much different from Spurs. So we better improve or else.

Chelsea gave already given us more than a good game every time this season.

That particular final is 50/50 because they will be bang up for it.

Shows how far we have come since Klopp came in when we go top of the league but are disappointed in the way we’ve done so.

we still looked on top but they play this game well so no disgrace when a team comes not to play but avoid defeat and have players like Kane and Son a draw isnt the worse result.
Lets see what the next week brings but if City win well tomorrow I am all for resting players for the Cup finals Mo and Sadio are running on empty

I remember once under Rafa when we drew against West Ham (I think) and went top....and some of our fans booed us off the pitch!

Fully expect City to go out there and hammer Newcastle now, and romp their way to the title.

      No pressure for them.

That said... desperately hoping for a major upset. Come on Newcastle! You need to prove to them that YOU not City are the biggest, richest, most unethical club now.  ;D

To be honest spurs were worth a point. They will of course never win anything and kane and son will waste their entire careers winning nothing but im not bitter at all.

Newcastle is an easy win for City. Sorry but they are.

The 2 games after that are a bit dicey but Newcastle meh.

Keita should have been on earlier needed someone playing one twos in the box just like his goal against Newcastle. Mo  and Thiago should have been subbed for me

I agree. If City wins it is virtually over. In that case focus on the Cups.

Disappointing result but we are top of the league with 2 cup finals to play. City have been favourites for months but can still drop points so it's not over yet.

Spurs play a game that we struggle to win against. Quality players defending deep and trying to get goals on the break, similar to Athletico. As other people have said they got a lot of points against us and City with that style of play but over a season I don't think they will ever be able to challenge us and city to win the league. They will not get enough points against the lower teams.

A lot of criticism for Mo on here. He's lost his mojo in front of goal for a few months but he's getting marked by 2/3 players when he gets the ball. There was 1 Spurs break late in the game down our right. Mo was sprinting back to close down 1of their players. He's still working for the team, still a world class player. We need to give him time to play himself back into form.

The standards are so high right now, a draw at home with a very good side feels like a defeat. Incredible.

Gutted but with players stretched to the limit and Spurs setting their cowardly stall out to frustrate, not altogether unexpected. The biggest disappointment for me is that our decision making and execution in the final 3rd by our most dangerous players bar Diaz was woeful.
