Not expecting F**k all with city at home and Newcastle on the beach.

The only slight chances of dropping points is the away games but can see a draw and not a loss.

Oh well - just have to try and win the cups as a consolation.

As consolation? They are really not that. We earned the right to be in the finals.

This is a vital point, we now need a bigger favour from others but still we need to work hard to get to the last match day and still have a chance.

      Come on Reds.

Even if Man City win tomorrow, they will be 3 points clear with 9 to play.
I really don’t get why so many folk are so quick to throw the towel in.

Much stranger things have happened in football to simply dismiss the idea that Man City might lose one game.

They have lost away at wolves in 2020. They lost away to West Ham already once this season. Newcastle and villa are due a win against them.

But if we don’t end up winning the league I want it to be because city win their remaining games and not because we stopped believing.

I agree. If City wins it is virtually over. In that case focus on the Cups.

Because we aren’t going to focus on the cups anyway? Strange statement.

We fought like F**k but we’ve come up short. It’s fine it happens. Next season we won’t give those cu*ts a 14 point head start. On we F***ing go lads.

Their two defenders, were boss, don't even know their names because I only watch Liverpool and I'm bad with names (who were they anyone please?). These finals coming up, best learn a new set up in terms of forwards if they aren't working I think, Salah not playing at the start then coming on as sub because when he's not on form he still gets loads of the ball and wastes it constantly. So Jota there instead of him and if it doesn't work then sub Salah on, he isn't a king or undroppable, that stuff makes me cringe,

It's not strange he's saying prioritise the cups.

Crazy we play again on Tuesday and it would be madness now to expect these lads to play that game and then a cup final.

Away at Villa with a rotated squad I can't see us winning that either. And I think in one of his post match interviews Jürgen has pretty much said he can't see City losing and us beating Villa.

      Schedule just too hectic.

Players are not machines TBF. There is a reason why even best teams haven't won quadruple. Was bound to happen.

Consolation for an absolute incredible season. Let’s all agree that the league is the holy grail, the number one target. However it would be an absolute travesty to go this far in the other competitions and not collect more trophies. This team deserves it all, the finest squad ever put together.

Pressure will still remain on Citeh as they can't afford lose a single game out of their remaining four. We just need to win against Villa and Southampton and see what happens on the final day. West Ham and Wolves have players who can cause havoc on their days.

Thanks mate, they were so alert and fast to everything, three of them actually yeah not two, defending is an art too, not only attacking.

Hard fought game as expected, still time for City to slip up, anyway two finals to look forward to whichever way the title race goes. Most teams would give anything to be in our position !

Need to keep the faith. City can slip up. They still have wolves away, hammers away who would want European football again given that they have tasted it this year and Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa on the final day.

On reflection, it's not a terrible result. We always needed City to drop points and if memory serves me they are more likely to lose disastrously then draw. It's not over yet. What we need to do is hammer our next 3 opponents and get our goal advantage up..
