Absolutely sensational!! My god, my heart did not take that one well but when Kostas scored the relief was sensational.

I love to hate Man Utd. I love to hate Everton. But I just f**king hate Chelsea and I absolutely adore that we've done that to them not once but twice. A truly despicable club of despicable fans and I hope as they enter a new phase of their history that they have some awareness that the last 20 years or so has been an exploitative, fake sh*t show. And Tuchel can get to f**k as well. Made a career out of walking into clubs ready made by Klopp and thoroughly deserves the beating he gets from Jürgen. Cu*ts the lot of them. Drown in your tears!

Wonderful result in the end, I really thought that Jota’s penalty was the one that turned the momentum when we looked down at that point . Fantastic substitution’s especially Matip who was immense . They all looked knackered at the end so hopefully they recover in time for the next one . Ice baths all round I reckon

So what’s that, 18 penalties in two final shoot outs and 17 scored?

      Composure.

      Great win that.
Milner played well when he came on.
But imagine losing fab just before, then salah and VVD and still going for victory.
See why klopp calls his team mentality monsters.

Now on to Southampton. Depending on the West Ham result will determine the line up I think.

Did some Liverpool supporters boo Abide with Me? I can only think some in the stadium must have thought the national anthem (which was totally just) was being piped through because its a hymn that has been a mainstay of Hillsborough memorials. An important hymn

In terms of penalty shootout, full credit to Jota because he just had to score and he did. That was the first time in the shootout we were behind. My heart was in my mouth because I thought our chance had gone when Mane missed.

Just taking stock.heartbeats back down, pulse is normal.
I sit and watch these games keeping as calm as I can, but my metabolism is in overdrive.

Fantastic win and Trent just had to be motm. Some terrific tackles today and exquisite passing.

All calm now, another trophy in the cabinet, and on we go to the next one.  💪

Matip was absolutely insane when he came on. No one could get past him.

Shout out to Konate too - what a signing he is.
