I love it when I'm wrong when it comes to this club.

Well done to the fringe players there and the subs.

Feel for Joe. Konate is boss. Minamino is Origi 2.0.

We can do this come on!

Got a bit nervy at the end there with that mad b***ard Divock flicking it away every time but that's a very nice win.

Made City need to win it to win it so there we go.

For such a makeshift side against a fresh Southampton, that was a properly impressive display and victory. Mighty control. Sensational actually.

Taki - incredible. Hasn't played for what seems like months and scores a vital goal and lovely finish as well. Wow. We can't sell this guy.

Phew. Got a bit ragged at the end, not sure would've taken Elliot and Bob off, thought Taki needed to go, and Origi did absolutely nothing when he came on except loose possession, and stroll around.

BUT. The lads got the job done. AGAIN :)

Incredible really considering the number of changes, dominated the game, though didn't make it safe with a 3rd, so nervy at the end.

MOTM, Konate, what a beast he is turning out to be.  And fair play to Joel for nicking the winner.

Two more games.  Only the Premier League and Champions League titles to play for :)

It doesn’t get said anywhere near as much as it should, but we have a stronger squad than City and Klopp has a lot more confidence in his squad than what Pep has with his. No chance could they make that amount of changes and field a team like that with players like Taki who haven’t played for what seems like an eternity and still win. Pep often goes games without making a single sub.

What a bellend Tyler, he was willing an equaliser then and talking about that Arsenal game in 89 FFS how far do you want to go back.
We faced a lot more than a league title defeat a few weeks before that and that pr**k just wants to mock.

I'm really proud whatever happens now to take it to the last day from being out of it in January

How good is Jürgen? Plays not the strongest side, goes down by a goal, and with very much the same players, turns around and takes three points.

I think that’s four times in last five games we have had to come back from going behind.
Unbelievable team. Especially as we seem to be running on empty.

talkshite were giving it the big noise about the changes Darren Ambrose f***in Ambrose questioning Jürgen what a load of tossers.
We played really well there with a team that has been put together. These were fully fledged squad members not bit part players every day they turn up and work hard a real credit to our club

      Heart attack Sunday coming up....!!!

      Have NO FEAR.

Per all my previous posts, Stevie Gerrard will draw with City and we will win.   It is that simple...

Have faith - you can bend the future.  We will do so.

Massively relieved. Team played really well and totally dominated, but struggled to score and it came down to a Matip header to take the 3 points. That said, their goal never should have stood after the foul on Jota.

Definitely took a risky approach tonight but fortune favoured the brave Klopp after all. Not a team I would have selected.

Big appreciation for Firmino who had a great game, Milner who was everywhere, and Konate who had a superb game.
