Massively relieved. Team played really well and totally dominated, but struggled to score and it came down to a Matip header to take the 3 points. That said, their goal never should have stood after the foul on Jota.

Definitely took a risky approach tonight but fortune favoured the brave Klopp after all. Not a team I would have selected.

Big appreciation for Firmino who had a great game, Milner who was everywhere, and Konate who had a superb game.

Lucky your not selecting the team then eh .

talkshite were giving it the big noise about the changes Darren Ambrose f***in Ambrose questioning Jürgen what a load of tossers.
We played really well there with a team that has been put together. These were fully fledged squad members not bit part players every day they turn up and work hard a real credit to our club

Darren Ambrose? F**k me, they're just plucking out any beige early 00s footballer these days and sticking a microphone in front of them. Half expecting Francis Jeffers to get his own 5 Live podcast at this rate.

What an amazing season to get this far and still have everything to play for. Would be nice if we just had to win and that's it for the title, but no matter what, no one can say this wasn't an outstanding effort. Amazing to have been able to push City this far especially considering the point game we had to overcome. When we win the title and then Big Ears, it's going to go down as the greatest single season ever for a club.

You make a very good point about struggling to score with our B team.  Personally I would love to see Suarez back for the remainder of his career and one more great striker / attacking midfielder to supplement Diaz and our great forwards.

But I am not complaining as we are two wins away from the Quadruple (assuming Stevie G delivers, which I am sure he will...)

Mental and nervous and checking scores, refreshing pages by the minute. We’ve actually been there before…

Me expecting wums to pop up on our boards ahead of Sunday. Pretty sure they’ll be ignored.

What an incredible season this has been regardless of what happens next Sunday. Proud of these boys for taking the fight to the last day it’s theirs to lose and I gave a feeling they sh*t the bed.

Villa playing Thursday not ideal . We have done what we realistically could have . Could sit all day with What ifs but the reality is this squad is up there with best ever

      Great result and 3 points.
Every player had a good game, our squad depth has improved so much in the last few seasons. Elliot, Tsimikas, Konate, Jones all had good games. Going into a must win game as a young squad player must be a lot of pressure but they all stood up when asked. Klopp's ability to develop players and give them confidence is miles ahead of anyone else.
Taki still drifts out of games and looks lightweight but he keeps scoring important goals when he comes on. The power in his shooting caught out the defender and keeper tonight.

Jürgen reminded us that Atkinson didnt give us the foul when Rashford scored and the same today .
Now that team out today unlike some on here did not believe they were the second string they play for Liverpool and they were superb . Jürgen isnt false like MAureen or Rodgers who players eventually see through he is a genuine decent human being the players must wake up in the mornings and realise they are going to the best possible place to work lucky lucky bas**rds

Villa playing Thursday not ideal .

Why not? Is there a difference between Wednesday Saturday Europe and Thursday Sunday domestic? Sports science is so advanced these days. Players can recover and will recover on time. Why then are they paid that much money? To perform at the most stringent conditions. Fixture schedule is not a problem here if there’s any…
