Final Day Permutations

So the final day and still lots to play for.

We all know to win the league we have to win and Manchester City have to drop points.

But 4th, 6th, and 18th are still to be decided.

For 4th place Spurs hold the advantage. If they avoid defeat at already relegated Norwich then they claim the final champions league place. Should they lose then an Arsenal victory against the mighty Everton at the Emirates and Arsenal could leap frog their north London rivals.

For 6th United hold the advantage. If they win at palace then Europa league football is there’s. Should they fail to win and West Ham win at Brighton then West Ham will claim the Europa League spot and Man Utd will have to settle for the Europa Conference League.

The final relegation place is seperated by goal difference between Burnley and Leeds. Leeds have to better Burnley’s result. If Burnley beat Newcastle at home then there is nothing Leeds can do to prevent them going back to the championship. But if the magpies can beat Burnley then a Leeds draw at Brentford will be enough to keep the Elland Road club up.
