I love Gerrad to death, but relying on him to influence a prem for the better was a bit much. Valiant effort from them, and obviously im joking. Its not like he coupd go in and play.

Blown away at that 6 minutes in City. So gutted. Bottled it

      Thiago getting hurt is terrifying.

Non handball in the Everton game looms large

I dont really get why they bottled it though, they have nothing to play for, not like they had any pressure on them really.

Didnā€™t watch the city game obviously but you knew once they scored what was coming tbh

Unlucky Redmen so close. The boys will be down and disappointed  but need to take that feeling into next season.

Regardless of final result or our position in the table, 21/22 season is one of the best season for us to remember..

      One more title to go!

And at no point today were we actually on top of the league.  That would have been more ball-busting.

Gutted for JĆ¼rgen and these players, they so deserved to win the Premiership. As for City, they buy their success every season with blood money! I have no respect for them for at all.

Both teams won on the final day.  As expected.  What a fight it was - credit to City coming back from two down.  Left ourselves just a little bit much to do post December.

Another 90+ point scoreline for us finishing runners up.  On to the Champions League final.

Exactly. You need to establish a more credible position from the first half of the season than we did. I mean, we were fighting with Chelsea at the time which says it all.

No doubt that the Diaz signing supercharged things quite considerably in that second half of the season though. Get a good summer from him and then add just a little bit more quality/depth somewhere in that squad and we'll be setup nicely to go next season.

City, we will see you there (again)

Did our bit in the end. Congratulations to City.

I dont feel hurt tbh, I don't think I ever really believed. For me it was always City's to throw away and they were back ahead by the time Mo got his goal.

On to the biggest fish, the question is what on earth have we got left?

Too many draws this season sadly, Brighton home and Spurs home the worst ones
Leicester away bar far the worst performance in the league this season. One more goal against Brighton,Spurs or Brentford...I get it, but at least that's part of the game, missing chances, goalies having a blinder etc...BUT you can't forgive the officials denying Everton a penalty..make no mistake, those 2 points gifted to City WIN them the league

      That's where we messed up.

City score 3 in 5 mins.... we HAD to be winning the match earlier on, but were screwing it up. If we were on top of the league the pressure could have effected City. But they were comfortable enough even when losing.

Small margins isn't it. There's always games to look back on but the loss to Leicester u23s wasn't clever.

They need a a few days off IMO. Dead on their feet these boys Madrid have had their slippers on since beating City.

Bias from officials at Everton win City the league...It's a fact they've got over the line from an awful refereeing blunder
