We always knew the OG trio's time would come to an end.
The club seems to be better at handling these things on LFC terms.
Sad to see the Mane, Firmino, Salah era coming to an end.

Whereas on the likes of Torres and Suarez leaving there would be a
sense of dread, now I'm excited to see what's next.

I should add it's a shame that Mane will not get a proper goodbye.
Seems to be leaving on a slightly bitter note but he was a great player
both on and off the pitch. Remember the Robbo piss taking.

F***ing gutted to lose him.

One of the most satisfying and complete Liverpool FC careers ever. He leaves with nothing left to prove, having done and won everything. When all is said and done it's the right thing for Sadio and Liverpool.

For me he will always be the one who supercharged us as a team from the moment he made his debut in that phenomenal display against Arsenal. And he never let up from that point on. Thank you for everything Sadio!

If I'm honest, that's a sh*t deal for us. I'd have rather just kept him. We overpaid a bit for Nunez which I thought would be offset by us holding out for top dollar for Mane. We knew he wanted to go there and we knew Bayern wanted him, feel like we should have held out for more, but it is what it is at this point. Good luck to him but I don't think he'll ever be as dangerous as he was with us.

It would have been nice to keep him. I love Sadio.

But we just made a big purchase and when this club makes a big purchase it needs to be paid for with player sales. Bayern knew this and got a great deal in my opinion. They offered 21m initially, we wanted 40m. 2 weeks later they get their man for 27m. Yeah we will get the addons in the future but 27m is a steel.

This Summer will be all about balancing the books now and probably ending up in profit. I don't see any more incoming but there are certainly 2 or 3 I can see leaving.

Good luck to Sadio. He's been great for us. Sad to see him go.
