I know his name and he seems to be keen on Arsenal so we will see. I think behind the scenes the team will have been aware and prepared for losing Mo and Sadio I dont think running down the contract is an option for either of them. The way I see it is you are either with us or against us no half measures and no I am off next season mentality. Quite relaxed about both of them would love them to stay but maybe as with Luis a few new quality players may freshen things  up

At this point I don’t really care about Mane anymore. He gave us his prime years and this season he peaked. Thanks for your service and medals you provided to the club. Time to move on for Liverpool. Time to progress and start to leave the “old” front three in the past.

Try to stick with the wish him well bit. I agree that his manner of exit has been poor, notably the pre final ambiguous comments, which may have affected the teams performance. But looking back he has given us some great memories.

With Diaz and Jota we're covered in LW. My main target would be proper backup for Salah on the right who could then take over if/when Salah leaves next summer.

Also sounds like it's contingent on us bringing in a replacement so if we can't do business with anyone, it may not matter how much they offer. Don't think it will come to that, but it wouldn't surprise me if this one drags on for awhile.

Rumor is they've already come back with another bid. Round 40m Euros with add-ons. Still a low-ball if I've got my conversion right but I suppose at least a little closer to what the club will likely take if they can find a target they like to replace him.

It's not often we've been stiffed on the fee when selling and this is merely Bayern's opening gambit. I personally think £40m would be about right given age and contract situation, add ons or no add ons. Our own shrewd recruitment means we are under no real pressure to sell so can hold out for a higher fee further into the summer if needs be. I hope we can put ourselves in an even stronger position by signing a FW before selling Mané, leaving Bayern to sweat it.
