Semis at Anfield South, but we want it played somewhere else.
Shield at somewhere else, but we want it played at Anfield South.

Any chance it can host womens cup matches on the same weekend as FA Cup semis in the future? Problem solved.

I don't see the issue. ??? I don't think many people will be rushing back early from the beach just to attend the Charity Shield. But for anyone really determined to go, the decision saves them a fortune by not dragging them all the way down to London and back yet again. For everyone else, it's just another pre season box that has to be ticked.

probably best if you stop thinking the Charity shield represents the success of last season and a nice trip to Wembley to start the new one, I cant remember anyone ever dragging me to Wembley.
