The makers of that video need to understand that any such complilation has to be accompanied by the most god-awful music known to mankind. I mean, that  music isn't great, but it should be a whole lot worse. That's how highlight videos work.

People don't earn that in two years of wages and you think its a bargain.   :lmao:

Insane Bob, absolutely insane amount of money a day  :f_doh:

Yes but the average joe doesn’t sell millions of shirts and million more subscribers to sports channels.

If I did I would ask my boss for a fair share.

Rebuilding while we're reloading, love it.

      19 - Carvalho & Elliott
      22 - Nunez
      23 - Kontae
      25 - Diaz & Jota

Throw in that TAA is only 23 and we have some good young prospects potentially coming in (Ramsey / Doak) and there's a lot to be excited about for the long haul.

      Are they greedy?
They are being paid what the club think they are worth. These clubs make hundreds of millions. Players want a fair share.
Same as boxing. F1. Golf, for example, are offering top golfers £150,000,000 to play in a different tournament.

They aren’t any greedier than any other human would be in the same situation. Love to see these altruistic people that act like they would somehow not be the exact same. Bullshit.

Maybe you and your circle of friends have never turned down an opportunity for more money to stay where they are, but curious how you know the rest of the population is the same.

Who said anything about staying where you are?

If your boss offered you more money for the same job because you were doing it better than others you would turn it down? Yea sure you would.

Official: transfer of Darwin communicated to the CMVM

In the early morning hours of this Monday (0:44 am), Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD informed the Securities Market Commission (CMVM) that it had reached an agreement with Liverpool FC for the sale of all rights to the player Darwin Nuñez, for the amount of 75 million euros.
To the CMVM, Benfica's SAD also informed that " the agreement provides for the payment of a variable remuneration, so the global amount of the sale could reach the amount of 100 million euros ".

"It is further informed that the aforementioned agreement is dependent on the signing of the player's sports employment contract with Liverpool FC", it is further explained in the official document.

Yes, it's confirmed. I'm quite astonished by the fee. I mean, it's a lot of money for a player who still has to evolve at the highest level. I've been used to signings like Jota and Diaz: signings out of the blue for a decent price but who are instantly good since they play without the pressure of a high price. Now it's different. For this price, Nunez should be starting, and he should be better than Jota and Firmino, at least.

But I think it's a good deal and the scouting team has done their homework as usual.

      Welcome :scarf:
