Funnily enough, whilst it's often seen as the most important number in football, I don't think it has as much history as other numbers when it comes to Liverpool.

As I said in another thread, I wouldn't be surprised to see Curtis or Harvey ask for it. But perhaps it's a bit too soon for them, so it could be a good idea to leave it vacant for a year.

I think Harvey is destined for our iconic No 7, Jimmy will hang them up next summer so he only has 1 season to wait,  Carvalho should stake a claim but it's probably too early for him to be chucking his weight around, dunno maybe shelve it until a appropriate player gets signed ?
