Let alone now it's Jones or no one to pick.

Which is where the window comes in, if only there was one open where we could pick a player Arne likes.

Even the best coaches out there get tactics/selections wrong, it doesn't matter how much more Arne knows than us, yeah - no sh*t he knows more....Jones was still sh*t, and we as fans are perfectly entitled to say Jones was sh*t, like he was against Utd.

And everyone I know went the game said exactly the same, but don't castigate the lad, as he's also done it other games this year. He's a good squad player.

Slot has asked him to get into the box more.

The one time he does, in the last minute of the game, he gets kicked from behind in the calf, goes down and the c**t ref says play on and the c**t commentator says, he only had his hands in Jones back, wasnā€™t enough for him to go down like that!

OMFG Var didnā€™t even check it!

      Robbed again.

Oh and Iā€™m in the how the F**k does he continually get a game, gang!

How is this not a Penalty? Dying seconds of the game, inside the Box!!! F***ing fuming.

Because they didnt want it to be a penalty. Like they didnt want it to be a red card. Paul Tierney again ... if anyone is shocked i give up at this point. Just another david coote but hides it better.

You just know the outcome if thats in the other box.

Sometimes you should just give the political answer, or lie ;D.  What good can come from this for him? Dumb IMO. When you're trying to win stuff and your team mate is a bit out of form atm, this isn't the type of stuff you say.

Arne speaking after the Lille game on the Jones HT sub:

ā€œThe idea was to take Dom and Ryan off at half-time, but unfortunately Curtis couldnā€™t continue, so thatā€™s why Dom stayed a bit longer,ā€ he told reporters.

Questioned on Jonesā€™ setback, Slot said: ā€œThere was a moment in the game that he felt [something] and he said ā€˜letā€™s play for five more minutes and then see how it isā€™.

ā€œBut he said he had to go out at half-time.ā€

Looks like that's another player out for a number of weeks then. Extremely light in that midfield now.

Harvey will get more game time now most likely.

Not ideal but we have a fresh Elliott and Endo to fill any gaps. Maybe could turn out a positive that Arne hasn't used them so much this season who knows.

Been walking a tightrope in there all season with 3 from 4.

Hurt us at Newcastle when we only had 3 available, and then against United.

Endo is a good change to bring on late, as is Harvey (although not quite so late) for a different reason, but you are not starting either of those unless we want to get overrun.

After not getting one over the line in the summer we have been short one all season.

Think weā€™ll be ok, Harvey gives his everything and to me offers more creativity than Curtis has of late, Curtis seems to lose the ball too often and has reverted to the old Curtis of the JĆ¼rgen era, whilst Harvey has had limited opportunities under Arne, another option we have is dropping Gakpo back and put Diaz out left, Tyler Morton is another player who needs game time so maybe heā€™s another option.

Wow, incredible. And to think that he is not a starter but has to rotate with Swobo or MacAllister.

Curtis was ok for me but I thought we were better when MacAllister came on. Said it in the match thread, I don't think Dom and Curtis together are exceptional. I feel like they want to occupy the same places and do the same things. For me it should be either one or the other of them. Curtis still dwells too long on the ball at times but I do like that he will make that late run into the box.

      Agreed.

Mac came on, played that brilliant ball for Bradley to set up Szobo with and then the corner that Virg scored from.

Curtis was tidy but didn't create with any influence, the way Mac did almost instanstly.
