He's only been here 5 minutes!!!...after the Japan demolition of Germany he was rightly getting plenty of praise on this forum, yet now, after a nothing performance (amongst most reds on the pitch) there are some saying he's rubbish....he isn't; Klopp wouldn't have brought him in if he was.

Needs to play in the games that matter currently ... meaning the league. Jürgen played a tired macca out of position rather than endo at wolves. He needs to play behind Dom and Mac tomorrow. Let's see what he can do.

As I said a few days ago I saw this lad as a first team signing with good experience and meant we wouldn't be rushing bajcetic who is young but the longterm solution.

It was a poor performance all round the other night and without the dodgy pen which seemed to suck tye life from them I'm not convinced we'd have won.

We would've won. All it took was some subs off our very strong bench. Their (LASK) legs were gone after 70 minutes....

Dude, everyone was raving about Szobo after two games. No one said ā€œhe’s only been here five minutes and you’re all saying how great he’s gonna beā€. It’s no different to a player making a poor start. Time will tell but my feeling is he was a bit of a panic buy after the Lavia/Caicedo debacle. Hope I’m wrong because it’s such an important position in this team. As well as we’ve CV played st times this season I do feel we lack the balance in midfield that a quality number 6 can bring.

Agree...He's better than a "Cup" game player and the more he plays the more effective he'll be.

The guy hasn't had a preseason we all know the importance of it to Jürgen.  When I saw fabinho play in Sept and Oct the year we signed him, I thought to myself wtf is this but months later he became a fantastic player. Robbo didn't get his proper run until about easter and he was competing Moreno.

I think we need time with him because of not having a preseason.  This season is different as we have a totally new midfield so he will get more early opportunities than his predecessors,  I think nov/dec before I can make any early opinion of him.

As some has said it is natural to have opinions straight away like the ceiling of his potential.  But for me because of how Jürgen works these sort of things will not be anyway accurate until Nov/Dec at the earliest.

I thought he did particularly well in the last 15-20 minutes including the spell where we were under the cosh a little bit. There was one moment where he made an important tackle and then played a nice weighted ball to hit one of our forwards in stride. Great to see and the 90 minutes will have done him good tonight.

How can anyone say Endo didn’t play well?

far more positive comments than negative about Endo so not sure why people think there is an agenda regarding him. Got let people settle in to a new town a new country and new club and he will be fine and a valuable member of the squad the more the merrier. Jürgen is happy so that should be the bench mark

He looks to be a very thoughtful player, with delicate passes. That ball that threaded three Leicester players for Dom's stunner was fantastic.

Not wanting to take a dig at Mac A...but Endo is playing the better of the two.

Macca playing out of position. Endo looking more and more comfortable. Needs to start at the 6 next weekend and allow Macca to play further forward. Macca and Szobo playing in Nunez is a match made in heaven, IF Macca isn't playing DCM

Have we appealed against Jones red card? It should be overturned but I think that's unlikely; the FA and PGMOL need to start apologising and being less hostile to us but probably will still uphold the red card.

Assuming  that Jones is banned I'd definitely bring in Endo and push MacAllister forward to Jones' position.
Klopp could consider Gravenberch for Jones but
Szobo-Endo-MacA is a much more solid option.
