Darwin found his scoring boots for Uruguay last night with a hat-trick.  xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

He can definitely score and I've been saying it for some time now. The way we play has really changed since two seasons: TAA and Robertson were crossing much more and were more present on the wings. Our midfielders then did not have to contribute forward. If we were playing like 3 seasons ago, Darwin would have more chances and would score more because it would be only about finishing these chances.

But since he came, he arrived in a team which was changing. He has had to create a lot, and was not just finishing. I really believe that has to do a lot with his output. Put him in a team with wingers or fullbacks crossing as much as we used to, and he's guaranteed to score 20 goals in an EPL season. He's not technical, but he sure can finish. I hope he succeeds under the new management.

How does any of that impact on him missing sitters - he missed the most big chances in the league!

He’s so athletic, so strong and so direct. But we all watch the games and the level of chances he misses to naked eye is ridiculous. Harder to F***ing miss some of them.

I'm more concerned by Gakpo and Diaz not scoring enough rather than by Nunez missing some sitters. At least, he gets in dangerous positions and at the end of the day, his stats are better than all other forwards except Salah I think.

So yes, I believe that he should improve his finishing but I'm also saying it would be less an issue had he played in a team with wingers crossing more regularly. TAA and Robertson used to do that a lot before. That's my point.

doesn't mean a thing when he's one on one and hits the post, or has an open net and hits the bar or row Z.

he's sh*te for us, move him on.

Didn't clap for Klopp but he was seen dancing with Klopp in the after party. Just accounts farming drama

People say "ignore social media" but this is how it affects peoples lives. Take clips out of context. Edit videos to make people look bad. Then get fans genuinely riled up. It's disgusting. All for the sake of "content" , views, and money.

"When"? He aint going anywhere. We invested a lot of money in him and we're not a club that gives up on big money signings so soon and even less chance of that happening under a whole new structure. The dude's just about to enter his prime years.

He will improve if played from the left, Diaz from the right and Salah in the middle. I would change the system.

      & Jota up top in a 4231?

I can see Gakpo taking over on the left side and have a feeling we may look to cash in on Diaz if an attractive offer arrives.

Scoring goals wasn't our problem it was conceding the first goal. I would be more than happy to win a few games 1=0. Darwin ain't going anywhere

      It was both clearly mate

Those that say defending wasn’t a problem have their head in the sand and like wise with attack, it’s missing the obvious.

The numbers that matter are expected goals and over performing on that with what we create. Both city and Arsenal concede less but also score
More than expected. We scored less than expected which was a huge problem with the chances we created.

We had a lot of problems (some through no fault of our own) last season. Conceding the first goal in 20 odd times or whatever it was was the worst and most frustrating because we seemed helpless to prevent it. Finishing some of our big chances was another, the Palace home game was criminal. If Grav scores against Brighton to make it 3-1 instead of hitting the bar from a few yards out that's another 2 points in the bag. If we don't make silly changes like we did at Villa, that's another 2 points we walk away with.

It appears some fans have no problems ignoring the simple fact we were screwed over multiple times by VAR, in big games and in games that cost us points. Shaw handball, Odegaard handball, Diaz offside + the ridiculous Jones red, Doku karate kick. Of course none of it is guaranteed but that's up to 7 points we were denied the right to come away with. This also gave City and Arsenal a point each 9 times out of 10 they wouldn't have walked away with.

All of a sudden the table would read much differently and that's taking away all the injuries we had as well as our issues in both boxes.

If he doesn't improve this year, than it's tike to panic. Fact is he started great and died off as the season went on. Slot specializes in making CFs better. Let's see how this new season goes. There's a real baller there, hust needs to be uncovered

I think he has had a decent season. He surely can and should score more but his output is decent.
I think its unfair that he gets criticized so much when our other forwards did not score much.
