We had a lot of problems (some through no fault of our own) last season. Conceding the first goal in 20 odd times or whatever it was was the worst and most frustrating because we seemed helpless to prevent it. Finishing some of our big chances was another, the Palace home game was criminal. If Grav scores against Brighton to make it 3-1 instead of hitting the bar from a few yards out that's another 2 points in the bag. If we don't make silly changes like we did at Villa, that's another 2 points we walk away with.
It appears some fans have no problems ignoring the simple fact we were screwed over multiple times by VAR, in big games and in games that cost us points. Shaw handball, Odegaard handball, Diaz offside + the ridiculous Jones red, Doku karate kick. Of course none of it is guaranteed but that's up to 7 points we were denied the right to come away with. This also gave City and Arsenal a point each 9 times out of 10 they wouldn't have walked away with.
All of a sudden the table would read much differently and that's taking away all the injuries we had as well as our issues in both boxes.
