Watching the Olympics the last two weeks and all the pictures surrounding the stadium. It's almost like the authorities and the police used that game and everything that happened to probably get a grip of the local African communities before the Games.

Was wondering how it would all go down last night in St Deniz. Bet you htere were no incidents!!

Wondering if all those refugee cu*ts were waiting to get in as well.

I bet they were cleared from the area after May 2022

Of course the Conmebollocks make an example of him by handing him the toughest punishment.

How does he get 1 game more than Bentancur who threw an ice bottle at someone's face which actually led to blood pouring out?

At least he gets to stay in Liverpool during the next 2 International breaks.

Lucky it's the international ban, though it doesn't appear that Slot is keen to use him anyway.

Needs to switch on his brain and do better.

Now he’s been given the ban, I hope he stays home and gets some rest and training on our pitches and isn’t forced to still travel with the National side, as a support person.

As people on here know by now, I'm one of his biggest fans and love the guy to bits....but I didn't think he was up to much today compared to his usual standards, besides the worldy goal.

I am going to stick up for him and say it was his first start this season and want him to now get the nod over Jota to start to show what we know he can do because he has it all in his locker.

Oh and fantastic goal, his celebration almost had me welling up   :scarf:

The whole move was just brilliant wasn't it. Mo and Darwin seem to have a really good connection which was evident 2 seasons ago. The finish might not have always been there, but the link up most certainly has.

I didn't think he played all that well, but his goal was sick. Felt like his runs bunched up the passing lanes. He seemed to run to the ball, rather than overlap and create space for the ball carrier. His passes seemed to be off the mark a bit too

Tbf, it was his first game from the start. I hope he starts again Wednesday. I wanna see him play his way into form. I'd love.to have 6 guys upfront competing with each other

Was at the game yesterday and kept an eye on his play. I thought he played relatively well to be honest and tracked back to tackle and win the ball on numerous occasions.

Did think some of the space he ran into was questionable but in hindsight he could well have been creating space for others.

I love his cult hero status though the crowd gets behind every little thing he does.

Think yesterday should do his confidence the world of good so will be interesting to see how he gets on next time out when he starts.

Thanks for that dude. I alwaysnlike hearing insight to those actually at the stadium. You see more than anyone, especially if you do what you did and focus in on one player.

My screen went out on the 2nd goal (USA Network) so i didn't see the play and just thr replay. Once I watched it back, I see his run was very unselfish and created space for Diaz

For his first start Nunez played well , he was a threat for most of the game and was there for the outlet ball

The header for his goal was very good , sometimes he just needs to be a bit more smarter with his runs

Does Darwin have repeatability? That's my question with him.

Can he play 5 or 6 games consistently making the right choices and consistently executing them over a period of time.

I have my doubts because everything he does just seems so off the cuff and instinctive at times.

He needs a run of games first and in one position

      Not really.

He's been shifted out to the left on numerous occasions.

From a possible 3,420 mins you can play in the league, his first season was 1,698 and his second was 2,045.

A run of games is what Havertz gets for Arsenal or Haaland for City, not playing 50-60% of the minutes.

Reason why he didn’t get a run of games ( which you should know ) was his very poor finishing and rightly Klopp dropped him, not forgetting he’s thick between the ears when it comes to the off side trap.

We know he’s capable of throwing in exceptional performances in but lacks the consistency your looking for to challenge for the title.
