Watkins is 29 in a few months, for him it already is too late.

If he is 6th best in our front men then for me it tells us how strong our forward options are.   He has a lot of tools strength, pace, score spectacular goals and a nutter he may even headbutt ten hag one day.  I wouldn't part ways with him now want to see the end product which is surely round the corner.

Darwin has to bide his time and be ready when called upon. Arne said they are doing alot of individual work with him to get him upto speed on what the gaffer wants. Hopefully theyre teaching him some basics of the game as well that he should have picked up as a kid.

So lets see where he is after xmas. I think he will start again against west ham. Like Bournemouth, they are not great and that gives him opportunity for goals. Take your chance. We need the whole squad, not just 13 or 14.

When the business games come round, Diogo will be back in. But with Gakpo/Diaz, Jota/Nunez and Salah/Chiesa ... very good options and if each can in turn push the other then its all good isnt it.

Not often you wear tints la, he missed far far to many when you consider how many he was getting, even your own fans turned against him and some want him out. This will be his last year if things don’t work out, ones thing for sure though, he will never work out the offside trap.

I am more arse about my club but that wasn’t the question, not really the right thread either.

Seems.more composed to me.not as erratic at times ,taking an extra touch . Think Slot has worked on this and although I think it would be wrong to try inhibit his natural instincts he does seem more calmer

Darwin is an Anfield cult hero. The crowd rises every time he's on the ball. Only seems like a very small minority would shaft him. So feck them!
