Exactly. Kids got 10 goals in a short amount of time already. Imagine when he learns the system, builds into his skillset, and learns English. Dudes gonna be a mother f**ker 🤣

Yeah and still got a lot of maturing to do on his discipline. Loses his head.

Surely he will lmprove with experience, still looks a quality player.

Never watched much of Uraguay, so not sure how team setup, but I get feeling Suarez was being carried a bit, so maybe team should be built around nunez now, focus on his talents.

Bit of a sh*t tournament for Uruguay as a team. I don't think him or any of the other forwards had anything to do with their failure. I watched their 2 first games and it was pretty bad all over the pitch. They look exactly like we look in the first 10 games of the season. They can't hold the ball for more than 2 passes, they have a very hard time pressing the other team once they lose possession and their game plan seemed to be ''win the ball near your own box, bomb it forward to an isolated Suarez/Nunez and give no support at all. Their midfield is pretty much nonexistent.

They have 3 top quality strikers (2 of which are amongst the top 10 strikers if not top 5 in the last decade or so) and they still couldn't feed anything of any quality to them.

Good that he's out. Rest and get back to it.

Him trying to dig up the penalty spot the other day, when Ghana's players had encircled it and were therefore drawing the ref's attention to the possibility of a Uruguayan doing exactly that, kind of reinforced my impression that he's not the sharpest tool in the box. This is the one thing that worries me about him to be honest. Quality-wise, I think he's good enough. Just not sure about his decision making. He is young, so hopefully it's just naivety that he'll grow out of.

Agree, he's certainly a talent, but he's also like a loaded cannon. Just never sure when he's gonna blast off with some crazy behaviour !

Honestly no hate, the guy gets goals but is it just me or are the majority scruffy? To give him his due, the first goal was tidy enough.

Think his goals summed him up so far, one good one bad but both importantly are goals. Keep them coming I say.
