Quite frankly do not understand all the stick Nunez is receiving, he is contributing to the side making chances  for fellow team mates to score. Also he never hides and has actually scored, a few goals himself !

I agree with you mate. Think he looks dangerous. When he starts scoring he’s going to be unplayable. Just need some others to find some form and get back on track.

He's going to be a beast for us once he figures out how to stay onside and also how to put the ball either side of the keeper, into an empty net.

Surely you don't expect a professional striker to master these skills? Seems like unrealistic expectations

Class goal tonight. He’s made big improvements to his link up play and he knows what he’s good at.

I’m really rooting for this guy. For all the criticism he gets, he’s one of the few players who I think can hold his head high. He’s not been amazing, but his goal ratio is decent and he’s always trying. He’s a better all around player than he was at the start of the season. Just needs to score consistently.

I get more doubtful with every game. Yes, he's a gem IF we talk about counter attacks where he has some space to run. He'd be the knd of player you'd want as an Atletico fan. But most times with us he'll be in the middle, surrounded by players, very limited space to move and he doesn't look good in those scenarios bc he's too tall. I also didn't see enough header from crosses or corners. I thought this could make up his disadvantages. But I trust in Jürgen.

      Darwin Nunez record
Despite all the criticism thrown at Darwin Nunez this season, and some of it is warranted at times, he has now scored 10 goals in his 23 Liverpool appearances - one more than Luis Suarez had in the same stage of their Reds career.

The lad is doing just fine. If Haaland didn’t join the same window Darwin would be perceived differently

      He's great.

Once he starts scoring regularly, he'll be a cult hero.

Keep them hating Darwin, we are behind you!

Love the passion and love his never give up attitude, going to be a big player for us no doubt.

Liking the partnership he is forming with Mo too, that could be big for us in the upcoming CL run.

I love his attitude and he never hides when the games get tough. The more he plays the more clinical he'll become.

He's 23, but he's not played alot of football for someone of that age. He's still learning and growing as a footballer.

I have full trust that he'll be a unbelievable player for us.

Apparently in doubt for the weekend.

Why are we either injury free or in injury hell? There's never an in-between

Added a directness and a threat in behind which suprisingly Gakpo and Salah haven't offered at all.

      I love Darwizzy.

Looked a bit hesitant going into challenges, guess that would be him just getting back from injury. Getting him back firing on all cylinders and he'll be fine.

I think he will flourish when Diaz and salah / gakpo are on the wings

Hes still so raw and for the money we paid you would expect his fundamental skills to be a lot better.

We don't spend big that often  and when we do we usually get it right, but this at least in the short term has been a costly transfer considering the state our midfield is in.
