He’s defo got a red card in him KK I just wish I could work the kid out. 🤷‍♂️

Nah, think Klopp had a word after the Palace red card, he's calmed down a bit in that way, but I like that bit of nark he has in him.

Think we as fans all get that with some players, more so when they play for our respective clubs. It’s out of Klopps hands when he’s on the pitch, Defoe got a red or two in him for me. He reminds me of Casemiro, getting booked when there’s simply no need for it, so frustrating.

Would be even better if he hits the back of the net.

He will score plenty once he really settles.

Might be next season but we've got a real chaotic and unpredictable forward which is what defenders really don't like.

If what Jürgen is trying to do with Gakpo in a central role works and he truly becomes the Bobby replacement then it will be very interesting to see what happens with Nunez at LW.

He has been playing that position ever since Gakpo came here, but he was unfortunately reduced to a traditional winger's role as opposed to an LFC winger. This is mainly due to how poor we are all over the pitch as it translated to much less space for our forwards to run into. Now I imagine that once we start improving and Gakpo settles into that Bobby/false 9 role (and Bobby is back to speed), Nunez will suddenly find himself in much more space and we'll see much more diagonal runs from him as opposed to the darting but straight runs he's been doing the past month or so. We'll also see the TAA and Nunez connection become much more functional and potentially very lethal (you can imagine a classic Trent cross being met by an oncoming tall, strong and quick forward making a diagonal run from the left onto the center).

I think the derby was a glimpse of that. If it works Nunez will have the potential to become a very prolific forward

Like I pointed out in another thread, his run from the edge of the box, to set up Mo's opening goal proved outstanding. Surely goals will come for Nunez sooner or later.

Defo mate! Just a matter of time (hopefully not too long though). Maybe Tuesday would be a good time 😉

with Diaz,Jota, Mo, Nunez and Gakpo we have an incredible amount of pace in the front line. I dont care if Nunez scores if he keeps on setting up Mo like that he has a major impact every time he plays..the goals will come.

This  was the first time I saw a glimmer of hope with the lad, let hop Klopp has got his mind set right. If he comes good he’ll of a chance of top four, if not I’ll be taking the piss out of the lot thought the summer  :lmao:

Seemed to have picked up a shoulder injury, hope it is not too serious. His pace will prove invaluable, providing he is not injured.
