Sure, I guess you could say the difference being we didn't have to blow in excess of a billion to get back there.

Only coz you don’t have it to spend being a smaller club.

Being a smaller club that have won more trophies, and thus more prestigious than any other in England?

I fail to see what you're trying to argue here.

Around the same time frame it took you to catch up with us only to end up one league title ahead!!

All relative really, a bit like the fact that us fans in the ground are 100% behind Nunez.

At what game did you here this Keith?

I'm talking fans in the ground. When have the fans openly slated Nunez in the ground or turned on him?

Isn't this what places like this are for, gassing about players, doesn't mean they don't back the player at the match.

I’m all for backing players at the match mate, it was no different for me when I had a season ticket, last thing players need on the pitch is fans turning against them. However, in reality they do their moaning off it.

Keith I think you doth protest too much regarding Darwin. I'm not sure why it matters much to you whether or not he works out or if he's banging in goals.

If the majority of supporters in the ground love him and if the majority of fans outside the ground love him (and I have a feeling they do...I'm a big fan for instance) then I don't know that it matters what you think respectfully.

You can argue all day long that he's a bust but it really makes no difference. He's still going to play, he's going to score some and miss some. And he'll be fun to watch either way. It is what it is. You should probably worry more about that pile of sh*t players you've got over there :D  Darwin would improve your starting 11 in a heartbeat.

Darwin wouldn’t improve our starting 11 as he’s struggling to do it in yours and you’re a much better side than United. He’s on his last legs and isn’t a formality for your top 11 anyway. If Klopp couldn’t get the best out of him I’d be surprised if 🦥 can even though he’s got you off to a great start.

I’ve thought for a while now he’s better playing off the side rather than him being a No 9. Think he’s on his way if doesn’t produce the goods this year. Fans keep looking for excuses and it’s been over 2 seasons now and still not working out. Loving him doesn’t get you any more points. He’s a frustrating watch as promises so much but delivers little.

If you think his only job is to score (only job) then yes, he's disappointing. But you would also think someone like Firmino is disappointing as well if that's how you judged him, yet he's one of our most loved strikers. Darwin like Firmino does a lot that goes unnoticed (or uncared for) which is why he gets game time. Maybe you will be proven right and he will be moved on, but for me it makes no sense. You have a player with speed, skill and tenacity...if he isn't producing....figure out how to make him produce. Put him in positions to succeed...play to his strengths and then if he still doesn't cut it so be it.

Not sure it’s about being proven right, more an opinion. As an outsider looking in he frightens me more when he cuts in rather than in the middle as a No 9. There’s no doubt he has something as if he didn’t he would scare me like he does at times but not in the middle.

Once again it’s not about the love fans have for a player, my favourite player when he was there was Pogba but only performed when he wanted to, especially when playing for France. Who knows! 🦥 may  do what Klopp couldn’t do, now that would be a massive achievement.

I felt he was a bit of a square peg in a round hole when Klopp was here, he also came in around the time of Cody and Diaz, we have all these new forward players integrating with Mo and maybe not so much continuity. I honestly think you could have Darwin play more from the wing, even though he's bigger, I don't know that he's your target man type of CF...I feel Jota is more of that in spite of his stature. But I do believe Darwin plays better the more time he gets so the in and out of the lineup doesn't help him in my opinion. His numbers aren't the numbers of someone that's a bust, they just aren't the numbers of someone that got bought when Haaland did for big money. If we don't judge him by his transfer fee I don't think it's as big of a deal how many he's scoring.

I can't believe I'm saying this but out of Nunez and Jota. I would be okay with Jota being sold, Nunez adds so much this team and his workrate improved a lot. That fake out last night reminds if something that a Firmino would do.

He's a proper anomaly... he can look like the best defender, midfielder and attacker all at the same time, he just can't put them away regularly...

a number nine in a top side should be aiming for 25 goals a season, I was in ground yesterday and you see a lot more than on the telly, we signed a duckegg, he be gone before you know it, when slot makes signings

Yesterday he was very good , worked very hard and was unlucky with his run and efffort that they tipped round the post

One thing that’s ignored is his link up play with Mo - it’s very good

Sell Jota and keep Nunez? Youre entitled to your opinion and if thats what you think fair enough.

Jota is head and shoulders a better player than Nunez for me. On another planet to Nunez. Would i like a Rush or a Torres or a Fowler wearing 9? Of course ... a lethal finisher like those lads would be great. But nunez and jota ... Jota is so much better. He has not quite got going this season. But he has more than proved his quality. Nunez is into his 3rd season ... gonna cost us close to 100m euros and he average at best. Not good enough. Thats my opinion.
