Would have been Gerrard reincarnate. He modelled his game after Stevie.

He's better than Gerrard - Scholes - Lampard.

Swapping kdb and SG in the teams that they played in would be interesting. I wonder how kdb would have fared having to pass to the likes of jovanovic, ngog et al and sharing the midfield with the likes of poulsen

Listen you knob. What you know about football could print on a postage stamp. Just for starters alone KDB scored more  assists than SG and played nearly 300 games less. You keep those rose tints on lad and continue to sound like a pr!ck.

That’s a fair point to, we will never know now.

What a great job Howe has done at the Toon. There have made some good signings, but not exactly wild changes, a lot of the team was still the same before he joined. They are cooking very good.

Despite where the money has come from couldn’t agree more, don’t rate him ( yet ) as a top manager but certainly doing everything asked of him so far.

      Why?

It's a genuine question. I have always liked Newcastle, it's a proper club with a big stadium full of fans who care about their club. They keep going every week even when they were sh*t. They have usually tried to play good football.
I felt sympathy when they were owned by Ashley, only really disliked them when the Saudis arrived and a lot of the fans welcomed them without much criticism.

Howe is doing a very good job but still early days. They will need to get onto top 4 this season or (more realistic) next season for him to be a success.

there was also an assault in the box VAR and REFS are still rubbish Refs may know the rules inside out but they have very little understanding of th egame itself

You won’t get any change out of him mate he’s very blinkered and somewhat naïve in many ways.  I’m hoping they get in top 4/6 or maybe win the FA Cup or League Cup purely for their fan base as I too feel sympathy for the fans. Passionate bunch are those Geordie lads & lasses.

If only everton had been given a penalty, if only we'd beat Tottenham, if only we hadn't have blown multiple 2 goal leads ... so many reasons we didn't win the league. It was disappointing for sure

Ah yeah, but Villa 2 up was the last day, I can remember my head starting to lift off a bit thinking it was going to happen. Ah well.

Villa pumped 4-0 today after a 4-0 win last week. Thought we were inconsistent ! :)
