One of my favourite things about pre-season is supporters raving about some young player who has a couple good games only to never see them near the first team again when the real games start.

Think I’ll go to sleep till then. Can’t wait. So bored without the footy 😵

Having covid has a benefit,  will be able to watch the game on Tuesday whilst working from home

The fact is that most Liverpool youth players don't make it as Liverpool players. A rare few do, others get some games and end up going somewhere else, others go somewhere else (pretty low in the pyramid) and other are out of football altogether.

So no raving here. As always, time will tell if any of these have a chance.

James Norris has played for the first team last season.as has Frauendorf. Hill had a start prior to his injury.

I can see where it would be good for him to play regularly of course, but in that case, I wonder if the club will go through the season with Adrian as the backup.

That has to be the biggest sub bench I have ever seen. Could play 3 XI's in one game 😆
