One way or another they have set the bar very high. I think only this club has the ability at its best to run them close. No shock to me we fall of a cliff and they win the treble.

What do you base that on? Think I’d want to wait for summer transfer window to close before making a bold statement like that mate.

      Recent experience?

I dont think United can challenge them, I think you can cobble into a distant 2nd or third maybe? But you'd have to learn to keep the ball against half decent opposition to win consistently rather than the smash abd grab counter stuff you play now.

I don't think Chelsea will bounce back straight away. I dont think Arsenal will sustain their push. Newcastle ain't ready yet.

If we get the midfield right I think we are still best placed to push them. I don't think the statement was too controversial really.

2 seasons back we only qualified for CL on the last day of the season needing Alisson to header us into it and went on to push for a possible Quad the year after.

We really fu**ed it this year and we might F**k it next, but at our best i think we have the capacity and capability to push them the hardest next season.

Not that we should like, there's still no excuse for United not to be winnings everything City have done the money you lot have burnt through the last 10 years!

Last year we got to the final...put a decent enough performance in, but came up short, This year we didn't even get close.....next year we're not in it... and it'll be a slog to get into the top 4 for the following season.....Starting to look like quite a few senior Reds won't be going to a final ever again (Mo & VVD come to mind) Finals come round so rarely in a players career....can't believe we didn't score last year...still gutted one year on!

United still miles away and pending summer signings hopefully get in top 4 again. I just don’t see any changes next year as the gap is so so big. We’re all fighting for a top 4. I do think the chavs will be a different side next year, I think they will be right in the mix and at worse finish 6th.

Arsenal look good for top 4 again and yet to buy. They’re such a young side and will have learned a lot from capitulating this season.

Think you lot will get at least another two signings if not three. With Mac already in the bag ( good player ) will be interesting to see what other midfielder you get in. Thing is the chances of it being a world class midfielder will be slim, there lies your problem and every other club. To catch City it’s going to take world class signings or at least the potential with players like Bellingham joining our clubs. Think at best all you can hope for is top four. However, I’ll still wait for summer window to close before having a proper assessment.

Tainted trophies. There is literally no comparison with the trebles of the past. This is a manufactured form of success founded on money from the Middle East which has turned the integrity of the competition on its head.

when I think of City and FFP or cheating bas**rds I am reminded of Fawlty Towers and the Germans "Dont mention the War" sketch its a bit like that with City and commentators "dont mention the FFP and fraud". Its not going to go away especially around Europe

yet they will have their accounts say there are 10 million people in attendance.
I still watch our parades now and again one reason because despite all the wankers who only want to put the City down it looks f***in perfect adorned by mile after mile of smiling Kopites

thought they had already been sniffing but FSG changed their minds. Who cares I would piss myself if Elon Musk bought Burnley and spent £billions on it.
