Can't really call out Haaland..take the piss yeah but he looks like when City get used to him he will score. But teams will negate him. Might need 2/3 chances to score. He looked a bit dozy and I thought it was a mistake to start him. But City don't go away.

Bad losers though..didn't pick up their medals...don't disrespect the game Pep..

Not calling him out mate. Just said he'll score plenty against the lesser teams as he will get multiple chances per game.

As for city and the medals ... at the end of the day its a game for charity. That kind of behaviour is unheard of and to be honest they should be embarrassed.

Started off good and got a goal for our good work. Citeh pushed back the next 30, thought he was defended well (particularly Matip who was winning ever 1v1 when force to defend wide). Felt like after the changes we were able to control the ball more and resulted in us winning.

Biggest positive is doesn't look like anyone got hurt and always nice to see another Henderson shuffle 👌

Haaland had just 8 touches in the first half, less than any other player on the pitch.
Don’t believe that would’ve been the case with the likes of Aguero, Sterling, Jesus etc - all players that actually make movements rather than just standing around

Don’t care what anyone says we exist to win trophys and it’s another on the shelf , they all count for me , sure some have a bit more prestige, but winning is what we aim for and we did .

Don Hutchison says penalty should not have been given, but also says team thoroughly deserved the win. He credits the midfield three of Fabinho, Thiago and Henderson/Elliott.

It was a 50/50 but if it hits your hand in the area and it's an outstretched hand the chances are it will be given. We will get one given against us at some point so we should not apologise for it or think we were lucky to get it.

Darwin what a flop haha. On a serious note he needs to adapt to our style but he is a very good player.

Salah got his mind back after the pay cheque.

Hendo put in a serious shift, esp in the second half. We dropped off slightly towards half time but Hendo came out and led us from the front. Would've given him MOTM if that Nunez guy had not nicked it.

Just goes to show what they think they are, and what they really are !
Their manager should have insisted they pick up the medals, but he’s clearly classless as well.
Horrible arrogant bas**rds who clearly think they have a right to win.

Adrian as 3rd choice is a very good option, better than Carson.

He was focused and gave us his all. Hope not to see you again soon not in a bad way.

I've seen us finally win every trophy. Pumped.

Darwin looks a menace. He's scary man. Gets in wonderful positions. He's going to make us different for sure, and after one game (albeit glorified scrimmage) maybe better? Time will tell. Definitely a true #9

Thiago ran the show. World class when healthy.

Robbo looked rejuvenated. I thought he played great.

Bobby just a bit of a shell of what he used to be. Against the mid table teams he looks a tad slow, but against top tier boys, it becomes apparent that he's lost a step or two. Love the man, but it is what it is.

      Adrian played like Adrian.

Since Hendo was offered to be sold for Clint Dempsey, he's gone on to win EVRYTHING. But hey, what Dempsey did with the Seattle Spunders is nothing to sneeze at  :f_doh:

Salah was amazing. Played like the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulders.

Diaz doing that Mane thing where they hold on to ball a little too long. Also doing that Mane thing where he works his ass off without it.

Died laughing when Haaland missed that sitter.

      New season boys, let's go!!!!!
