That decision is essentially a 3 point swing as I think we were nailed out to win this 2-1 without it

This is the thing with Diaz though 8 yards out 1-1 ball headed down to him. We cant keep him miss hitting these chances that needs burying. And he has to start to become that player for us.

There is contact, so VAR cannot say it's a clear and obvious error.
But the ref should never give it in the first place.

One thing we do now know though is Darwin makes us more dangerous. Cant be going into the 22/23 season with Bobby starting up front.

Thought it was a PK, in fact I I believe we would all argue if that was against one of our players. But matip with the absolutely horrible pass cost caused it.

Not sure why Klopp started him after his average performance in the community shield

Thinking the same. Did score some crackers previously but for us he’s been poor ref finishing.

Biggest mistake today was going into the match without Darwin starting, Klopp showing too much of that loyalty to players again, hopefully the goal changes that for the next one.
