On the positive side, if we do them, 2 of Bayern, PSG, Madrid would have been knocked out in the quarters and it really gives a favourable route to Istanbul with only Napoli and City posing any great threat to the other teams.
That’s a terrible draw - I’m gutted to be honest
Got to beat these top teams if we want to win it And over two legs gives us a better chance
I felt that way when we played them during covid - still fu**ed us. The only positive I can take is that we are a due a win against them, surely
If we want to win no 7 then we need to beat the best
Like the toss of a coin the resulting outcome is 50/50. Like a coin toss, the preceding result has no bearing on the next outcome. The odds remain the same....50/50. That's not to say betting on Real Madrid to beat Liverpool 3 times in a row is 50/50...it isn't...or should I say wasn't. "The gamblers fallacy" is the name given to the mistaken belief that, in truly random events, the odds of something happening increase based on past events.Up the Reds
Ha ha I can’t even read that mate, hurting my brain
Well we have to assess our chances closer to the fixture. On current form it would be very difficult but it's February so I'll wait and see how we are going in January.La Liga is off till 31 December so they will restart albeit against much weaker teams than we'll get in the Prem. We are back on 26th December V Aston Villa.
Diaz & Jota back and firing. Oh yes.
I doubt Jota will be back for Madrid. Sounded a serious injury and march has been whispered.
