The lad has played 4 prem games and they have him booting out TAA who has proven himself across multiple seasons

Young Bradley is bright and sharp and playing with no fear but there is a long way to go to reach TAA levels yet

We have seen full backs come in and do well initially

      Flanagan a perfect example

At this stage when TAA is fit he will be playing , just as Robbo will be at Left back

He does have a long way to go......but he doesn't need to reach Trent levels, he just needs to carry on being Bradley. He can turn out just as good but in an entirely different way. It doesn't take a genius to work out he's got it in his game to be better than Trent defensively and not every manager (such as Southgate) will want a liability like Trent has proven to be, at RB.

Flanagan from his first 4 league games we could already come to the conclusion was limited. He was more the no nonsense type which he did well tbf to him but that was never gonna be enough in a Klopp side. Bradley in his 4 league games thus far (and let's include the Fulham games in the cup and the Arsenal cameo seeing as they are Prem opposition he's testing himself against) has already shown more than the likes of Flanagan, Brad Smith, Warnock whoever else you want to mention ever did during their whole Anfield time.

Take the glasses off, he is a huge defensive liability. He's regressing as a defender

No he isn’t - the hyperbole right now is pathetic , it’s the sort of sh*te that Mancs blurt out about our players

He is not a “huge defensive liability”

He has been asked to play a certain way under Klopp , we’ve won every trophy going with Trent in the team , and now all of a sudden he’s out of favour , the mind boggles ,

Both VVD and Allison have made more mistakes this season that have led to goals - are they a liability no

When he's being asked to defend he absolutely is.

There's a reason we shifted him more inside to begin with and asked more from Ibou/Matip + Szobo.

Do you need me to go through the number of goals he's been responsible for over the last 2 seasons?

He's a great player and we can all plaud him to the moon and back when he shows his class and more often than not with the ball he does just that....doesn't mean we need to hide and be in denial over the things he's weak at. We've all seen it both aspects time and time again.

There are midfielders who make just as many if not more mistakes but because it for the most part doesn’t directly lead to a goal , it gets overlooked , it’s the way now find a player to blame and beat him with a stick

Give over. Taa has been a liability defensively for a long time. He's not interested in defending. Players just walk past him. Do you think the media call him out on it because he's a great defender? No it's because he's nowhere near good enough defensively. Every team targets him ... because he doesn't want to defend. Not the same when Bradley is there though is it?

Being lazy is not making a mistake. It's being lazy plain and simple. He's much more interested and moves alot quicker when we've got the ball ... without it not so much. Leisurely ambles back. Let's people walk past him without even a half hearted challenge. That's not a mistake. That's just lazy. Bradley and Gomez and robbo show him up.

There is a reason he can't get in the England team as well. Because as talented as he is with the ball, he's a liability defensively.

Bored of this now. Bradley has the shirt. He's a better all round right back. And trent is going to have to up his game to take it from him.

TAA levels like getting raped by any half decent winger.

      Martinelli, Vinicius, Rashford

He can't defend, he doesn't want to play there, Bradley has already had Martinelli in his back pocket after the FA Cup game.

TAA cannot defend, his game is about going forward, not back.

      Move. Him. To. Midfield.

Ok tell me the number of goals he has been “responsible” for ?

This season it’s 2 - the same as Allison

      Last season - none

      Season before - none

      Season before 1 - Allison was 3

Season before 1 - same as VVD and Alisson

      Season before - none , Allison 3

So over 6 season that’s 4 errors that have cost goals - same as VVD

Same period Allison has over double ? Guess you arent call him a defensive liability

The goal last night was due to Bradley losing the player allowing him the shot in from which they scored

      It’s typical modern fan hyperbole

It’s amazing that they laud the manager then slag of the players that he trusts week in week out

TAA has proven himself and plays the role exactly how the manager wants him too

Last night Bradley lost his player a few times because he was high or drifted in - it’s going to happen because that’s the way they play,

TAA will be the number one when he is back from his injury - his quality outweighs any weakness and it doesn’t harm the team because Klopp sets up the team to get the best out his talents.

Simply going to say, what a talent  Conor Bradley is turning out to be, he is already a very fine full back. Conor deserves his place in the side on his own merit.

With TAA gone until after the International break I expect Connor to start minimum of 4 of the next 7 games and see where he is at performance wise until start worrying about who is first choice.

It is easy to get excited and caught up when young player breaks through and puts in some good performances from the get go but   when a lot of young players it is where they have a poor game can they bounce back or as he get more starts you get larger sample size to determine their quality. Remember Nico Williams after few games and sub appearances everyone high on him but as Klopp started to start him more we got better idea that he wasn't good enough for us.

Between Connor and Jarel both have been bonus contributors which allowed us not to have to rely on Gomez as much and put some more youthful energy within the side that was lacking last season.

Why are people always having fights over everything here? Conor is our only natural RB available to us right now so why are people at each other necks about who will be the No.1 right-back? At the rate this is going, by the time TAA is back Conor will be out with his own injury or we won't have enough fit player to actually field a senior squad. Let us get there first and then we'll see what happens.

Agreed. No need to be making definite statements about a player with not even a handful of games under his belt, take your anxiety pills, wait, and just be grateful we have some good players in the squad - different ones, mind.

Personally I have no problem with an attacking right back who might be a bit suspect defensively, it's just the nature of the job - no one is hardly ever perfect at both ends of the pitch. Even the likes of Roberto Carlos, who now he's retired people speak of as some sort of deity of the fullback position, were harshly criticised for their defending back in the day. And the idea that a fullback must "defend first" is idiotic - he must do what works best for the team, and that's what TAA, a Liverpool legend at 25, has been doing for years.
