Watched tha game again. Bradley made an enormous difference defensively as you'd expect. Having him almost completely lock down that flank for the last 20 made the lead we had much more secure than it otherwise would have been.

      At the club:
Gomez is the best defensively at right back (not bad at left back either).
Trent is the best offensively at right back (and in the world).
But Bradley is better offensively than Gomez, and better defensively than Trent, ie he's the best all rounder at the club.

Last season he looked like a boy and this season he looks like a man.  Has a very bright future.

Looked like a man when he went through M"bappe and no fucks were given.

I still say it's why no-one is panicking over Trent.

I’m still not sold that if Trent goes Bradley will take the spot by default. He’s sometimes better in defense but sometimes not. Sometimes good in attack and sometimes not. Definitely a solid backup option for me but if Trent goes I’d be interested in seeing if we could bring in someone that’s better than Bradley.

      Grew into the game.

Was quite wasteful first half but definitely very good game second half

Wasteful? With what? Did you mistaken him for Dom or someone.....What about his eagerness to defend? Barely gave Son a sniff.

To be fair to Son he was glued on Mo with Gray most of the game. Bradley didn’t have much to do the first half, but he was a standout second half for sure.

Dude, one tackle doesn’t make him better than Trent. There’s hundreds of highlights of Trent putting in a pinpoint cross for a goal, something Bradley hasn’t really shown yet. If Bradley was better than Trent, Madrid would be after him instead. Trent’s the better player and the better player should play.

It's not about being better - he might be a better player but he's not a better defender, it's showing the differences between the 2 players and what they each bring to the team and how the team looks as a result. In that respect I prefer Bradley. Trent has proven to be more of a liability this season than not, long gone are the days where he consistently delivers from a creative point of view.

He's a great young player is Conor and will have a great career for us.

But we're a side that dominates the ball and Trent is worth his weight in gold in that respect

Conor just needs reps. Not many games for him this season. At times he shows his inexperience in certain situations. But hes got so much in his locker to grow.

I love his commitment, his work ethic, his tenacity and his attitude is always spot on. And he has the quality to go with it.

Down the right he is a quick, brave and creative and clever. Then he comes infield with those driving runs from midfield as he did tonight. Just outstanding. Love his movement off the ball. Intelligent player.

And where it matters most, defensively, he is tenacious, committed and strong. You can tell he takes pride in that part of his game and by god does the lad love a tackle. Just a quality full back in defence and attack.

The challenge for Conor is to get more games and keep working on his game to get better. He isnt infallible. Love the lad.

Thought he did really well tonight. His level of involvement in our attack was akin to Trent's and, like the rest of the team, ran his socks off all evening. Needed a bit of perseverance as Spurs defended fairly well in the opening stages.

Fantastic performance, and not just in the 2nd half as shown in the first 30 seconds. Teasing crosses, getting forward on the over/underlap and winning corners, some lovely close control dribbling, precise passes weighted perfectly (including his assist).

He’s so different to Trent that it’s hard to compare.

Bradley’s work rate is much better which certainly brings a quality to the side but Trent is much better on the ball and when you have 75% of the ball in some games that’s huge.

Bradley probably is better defensively but I think it’s closer than people think. Both of them are prone to giving it away a bit cheaply - just last night I counted three times Conor tried to play out in our defensive third and gave it to Spurs in a dangerous position.

Conor’s only been around the first team for a year though so his ceiling is very high. It’ll be interesting if Trent renews though because I don’t think 10-15 games a year will see Bradley develop to the player he can be.

      Great post.

I think potentially he could develop into a real top level full back. I'm pretty sure he will.

But right now he's still got things to learn and develop and probably a little over rated but maybe that's just people seeing what he'll be in 1/2 years time

Best full back at the club. Range of passing and set piece ability are not at the top of the priority list for a full back.

      Conor has it all.

      Strong ✅️
      Quick ✅️
      Athletic ✅️
      Work ethic ✅️
      Attitude ✅️
      Defensively sound ✅️
Carrying the ball at pace ✅️
      Movement off the ball ✅️
      Attacking ✅️
      Can he go inverted/central ✅️
      Dribble past players ✅️
      Create for others ✅️
Maturity ✅️ captain of his country for a reason. Mature head on young shoulders.

Best all round full back at the club. Its not even close. And he has so much more in his locker. With games, more experience he will get even better and add consistency to the above list. Won't be long before he is getting attention from elsewhere. The summer if not sooner should be bringing an improved long term contract. Keep up the good work lad.

He is a baller. This lad could play midfield. His youth coach said he was "different", I believe him.

Best performance from a full back last season: CB vs Chelsea.
Best performance from a full back this season: CB vs R.Madrid.

Concur on the development point. He is 21, but really he is a lot younger than that in terms of experience due to the injury lay off, so he will develop even more. The number of games he has played for us puts him at around 19. The same age at Elliott, yet has played a third as many games.

What makes him the best all rounder is the quality in both sides of the game. Thought Trent got out of jail at Bournemouth (granted it was a difficult task up against Semenyo and Kerkez,  though Grav did put in a decent shift helping him). He just got rinsed too easily. When Bradley came on he tracked Semenyo's run much better; he can as he gets up to speed quickly unlike Trent, and he also doesn't throw out a half hearted challenge either. Trent was getting done by Rashford as a teenager, and in his prime he is getting done. He just lacks the fundamentals to be a decent defender, which is why his side, and not Robbo's, got so much protection from the midfield under Klopp. It's also why despite being the best attacking full back in the world he cannot get a kick for England.

The through ball aftet the gut busting run through midfield, for Szobo to score was outstanding.
