Gutted for Jota, what a shift he put in against City. Nunez will get a long run now in the starting 11, now is his chance to shine.

Seeing Virg and Mo both go down scared the bejeezes out of me.

At that point, I was convinced some c**t out there, really does have a Voodoo Doll on our Club and are poking F***ing pins in it every F***ing day!

We have to find this c**t and bury him or at least get Brucey Boy down to Anfield, to piss on the posts again.

Imagine you are a specialist and were hired to work with LFC, that's good. But once you realize your work is to make the like of AOC, Sturridge, Keita, Gomez, Thiago, Matip and FFS that Ironman Arthur a healthy footballer you surely just found that the world is not such a wonderful hahaha

      Shortened pre season
      Intense playing style

And some just a good old fashioned knock in the game

Also think right now the club are being cautious instead of taking any risks

Short pre season for every other team.

We don’t really press anymore - miles run per player we are way down this season.

We finished over 10 days after everyone else and also started the new season a week earlier than everyone bar City

Nah don’t buy it 10 days is nothing for athletes in their prime and why would a world class sports science team bring back a team of players early if they thought they were not ready.

They came back early because we had the charity shield in July !

It’s not just 10 days though is it - they have just over 2 weeks less pre season and a hurried bunch of friendlies

Did you not see how far off the pace we were in the Utd friendly , you could tell they were ahead of us fitness wise

You run the sports science division at LFC 🤣, they will know if the players are fatigued.

Yes that was as the name suggests a friendly!

I doubt that there are more tested young men on this planet and fatigue ,muscle injuries or even mental health will be so intensely monitored that no tired player gets anywhere near playing.

You ask for potential reasons why players maybe suffering right now through injuries and fitness issues and I have given you some reasons 🤷‍♂️ ( will also add the players played every single game last season )

So if you watched the Man Utd friendly then you should be able to see the difference two weeks in pre season makes 🤷‍♂️

They even put on a behind the doors game to help after the season started

Arsenal have had 8 players ever present this season. No coincidence they are doing so well.
