We ran out of gas at the end of the season. If you watched the games you understand this. Not going to go back and forth on it.

Disagree. We played some incredible high intensity games back end of last season.....finished the season very strongly domestically, that performance v City at Wembley last April and even the CL final we were much much the better side. Community Shield game we beat City again and beat them well.

We knew some of our players (especially in midfield) were ageing and we thus we called for the need of at least 1 midfielder....but you're lying to yourself if you knew this fall was coming.

For me it wasn't until the Napoli game where I thought ok we're in a really tough long season ahead.

We didn't. I watched them all. You are going back and forth but adding nothing except to say we ran out of gas, repeatedly.

16 matches in April and May. Won 12, drew 3 and lost the Champions League final despite a strong performance.

Just watch the last game of the season v Wolves and CL v Real we were punch drunk!

You are putting up figures  without context which suggests you didn’t watch the games towards the end of the season, we were running on fumes, it’s expected as the same players were there fighting at the end.
They are not robots fatigue is bound to set in.

Don't think the players fly out for duty until Monday so we should be ok, I for 1 would be shocked if Naby & Jota weren't injured boarding the plane.

Was hoping Tiago and Diaz were gonna be fit for tomorrow, but Diaz apparently not.

Was looking forward to seeing how he linked up with Nunez causing chaos in Arse back line.
Perhaps he’ll get minutes off the bench. 🤷‍♂️

Rashford supposed to be out for A month back in a week. Is it only our players that get injured for months ?

Exactly the reason why it’s a good reason to let Bobby leave, so many years of playing at such intensity his body can’t handle it anymore.

Opposite for us. Nothing serious, little thing and out for a month.

It's happened at least 20 times this season. Player finishes match ... no problem ... then out for ages.

I've said it before and il say it again ... the whole sports science dept, training and recovery people etc ... all need to be sacked. They are completely incompetent.

I've not seen the presser yet ... but I'm not 'he felt something, its nothing, a little thing' was trotted out again ..... yeah.

Not trained since Sunday. Won't be playing tomorrow. Klopp won't play anyone who hasn't trained twice or more before a game.

Big blow that is. At this point il take Brentford but i can't  see that either because he'd have to be back in training Thursday.

Leicester away at the earliest I'd say.

Not surprised the way Skipp nutted his foot.
