Once he gets up to speed and stays fit he will be the regular No6 alongside Mac and Szobo, he’s such a talent.

Yep, definitely wasted at RB. Looked better when he went more central. I'd like to see him at the 6 so that Mac doesn't have to play there. We may actually have some decent midfield depth now.

the RB thing was only to give him minutes on the pitch.

He will be a class addition when they decide he is fit enough.

I guess they see him as investment and take care. No reason to spoil a potential 10-year-career for impatience. Besides he‘d need weeks of football to get back to 100%, right now you could not bring him in a serious game, he would be a hazard.

Any news on his recovery

Yep and played the last 30 at Utd the week before and registered a cheeky assist for Gordon.

Makes sense for him to stay with the u21s after being out for so long. He'll be like a new signing for pre-season.

With the new manager liking 4231 it will be interesting to see if Stefan gets much of a look in next season. Important position in the formation

I imagine he'll get some minutes to build up his fitness tomorrow with the u21's....given he's been back since the 12th April, he should be sound to play against Spurs? Would have him in for Endo depending on how sharp he looks tomorrow.
