Probably a credible link. Not sure what to think of this as a signing...

Was a decent player at Barcelona but then was swapped with Pjanic with Juve - not sure how he has got on there

Looks like a loan deal so not sure if the club are that keen on him.

He's 26. Started at Gremio. Played two season at Barcelona and the last two at Juventus. I have seen him with Juventus a few times last season but he never really stood out.

I wonder if there is a purchase option in this. I'm guessing there is not.

Has all the signs of a panic signing after Hendo’s injury to me.

Was he the target that Klopp wanted 🤣

He is a very decent buy. Hope, he gives us the energy and creativity needed to in our midfield.

If it’s a loan we obviously don’t want the guy, he’s in to make up numbers and probably be a stop gap until Bellingham.

He was decent at Barca, haven’t kept up with Juve to have any idea how he’s done there. If their loaning him out though guessing not the best.

He’s a quality player, not sure why it never worked out for him.

Maybe it was the 4-0 at anfield a few years ago - never recovered.

Just watched the dreaded highlight video on YouTube. Looks technically sound. Hard to say how much he impacts a game. Only peripherally involved with Brazil so I don't know if he has a connection with Bobby or Fab.

Needed a body I guess. I'm fine with it. Is it true that "Arthur Melo" in Portuguese means "Kabak" in English?

F**k me, Juve paid a fortune for him! From Wikipedia:

      Juventus

On 29 June 2020, Barcelona announced that they had reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Arthur on a five-year contract for €72 million, plus €10 million in variables; the deal was also coordinated with a swap of Miralem Pjanić.[14] He made his club and Serie A debut on 27 September, coming on as substitute in a 2–2 away draw against Roma.[15]

I guess we had to move in for a cover after Henderson's hamstring

He's a good squad player hence why on loan.

Christ it’s Kabak part 2. I wonder how far down the list of targets a deadlineday move for him was. The fact it’s on loan like Kabak screams another case of “we’ll give you this, take it or leave it”

Seems to all in reading online that he's injured until mid September and is very injury prone.

Surely that can't be true. Bringing in an injured player to cover an already injured midfield.

I think there are some exceptional circumstances and this feels like one of those moments.
