Why Arthur Melo will thrive at Liverpool
      Sep 01, 2022 01:29:30 pm
Afternoon everyone, hope you’re doing well. As someone who’s followed Arthur Melo’s career fairly closely, I wanted to share a short video detailing everything you need to know about him and why I believe he’ll be a really successful signing for Liverpool (despite the murmurings of discontent amongst some in the fan base). As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts and am happy to answer any questions you may have, cheers and have a great day!

      https://youtu.be/9ueKsifz89Y

PS: Hope it's okay with mods if I share this!

Have my doubts he'll ever start a PL game.

Still, if it's down to him, Keita or Ox, he might end up being the fittest of the three, once he's lost last years Xmas pud and steers clear of it Xmas coming...

Fabinho made his PL debut in October/November. Even though we were desperate for someone like him, AND he was fit. Neither are true for Arthur. Don't give up on him yet. (and worst case scenario, he didn't really cost us much)

He's out for 3/4 months, he's on loan, he ain't starting a game for us.

Loan fee + wages = £8M down the drain.

probably had to pay for his operation too. Story now is FSG will go big next summer but here is the Caviat "if the right player is available" seem to have been hearing that for a while now

His time at Liverpool over before it began.
By the time he gets fit Elliott and Carvalho will be playing as many minutes as Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago.

for £4mil they could have had me and I make nice tea and do a really good job at cleaning cars. Needs to be looked at this signing is really indicative of our once envied transfer policy going badly wrong this summer

Was just a panic loan signing when our early season injuries were stacking up.

No big deal really just a blip in otherwise exemplary transfer business since Jürgen took charge.

His bank balance is thriving. This whole shambolic fiasco put the exclamation point on a shambolic summer.

The club wont be paying all of it though, because he's injured it will be by the insurance on the player. One bonus I guess. Maybe that's why we have so many injuries, sabotage by the club to save some money on wages - we do have to pay for Bellingham somehow...

Be another couple of weeks before he's in team training.
By which time Bajcetic will look even better after all the help from Thiago.

Once again, the solutions during an injury crisis was not found in cheap external solutions but from within the team itself.

Maybe there is something there that we should trust those kids more - it didn’t seem an issue when we had the likes of TAA coming through

We might finally get to see what type of player he is for us.

With Melo back plus Virg, Bobby, and Jota there is no excuse not for us not to get some wins over the next few games.

If our decline continues there will be major questions asked, mainly directed at Jürgen.

'With Melo back' kinda sounds like he 'did something', then was away, and then came back :)
