So looks like no Arthur tomorrow and Jota hopefully on bench . Thiago probably back for Wolves the rest a good few weeks away

Can't see Klopp going with Elliott and Carvalho in the middle.  Lot of pressure on Fabinho.

More than likely Milner is going to be involved tomorrow.

Good news about Jota though with him not having a proper preseason I wonder if it will be a few weeks until he starts a game. Either way good option to have off the bench.

I really hope we score first and not get drawn into scrappy game where we have to deal with their antics a whole lot.

That's my opinion too. Game will be too emotionally charged to have both Harvey and Fabio start the game.

Not a fan of that. Not enough protection I'm afraid. Fabinho is not in good form.

                                    Alisson

      Trent.      Gomez.              Virg.              Robbo

                        Fabinho.         Milner
                                      Elliott

              Salah.             Bobby.             Diaz

I'm toying with leaving Bob on the bench for this one ... 3 games in a week? But I'm sure his confidence is on the up so I've picked him. And nunez shouldn't just walk back in anyway after costing us with that moment of madness. Hope he has learned.

Also thought of swapping Harvey for Fabio for the same reason ... 3 starts in a week. The confidence of both will be high. I wouldn't start both though. It will be brutal and we need as much experience as we can. Need out big players to stand up in this one.

Gk, Philips, Tsimikas, Jones, Fabio, Nunez and possibly Melo on the bench. Plus whoever is fit.

Need to be on it ... start fast and take it from there.

I know and you're right but we need to be more creative than Milner.

I'm not fan of Firmino but I would play him from the start since he's on fire at the moment.

Milner won't be in there to be creative. He's in there for his experience and know how. The creativity needs to come from the full backs, Elliott and the forwards plus the firepower on the bench.

I'd have fab and milly sitting in front. There job is simply to protect and cover.

Iz'ee going throw Nunez in from the off or does he now have to consider Nunez's temperament. Looks like it's back to square 1 with Nunez.

Everton have been lame to say the least but it's the Derby. Back in the day it was a local barney with numerous players local to the City, now it's obviously cosmo and it might not mean as much to the individual players.

Still Frank can be relied on to start a ruck on the touchline.

That is why we miss Thiago, because he is both protection and creative but he is made out of glass.

But yes, Milner will 90% certain play. We need his experience for the derby.

      NB: Team no longer available

I know that I am crazy but I always felt that Firmino should play as an attacking midfielder.

I won't happen but that is my line up.

Melo, Milner and Carvalho to enter in second half.

I don't think this is crazy at all against 18 other opponents in the Premier League. But Everton so full of dirty play, and they are consistently allowed to get away with it against us. So I think we will see Milner at the start.

But Bobby playing directly behind Nunez is a good shout for the rest of the season.

I'm worried about our full backs. They have been giving the ball away and have been failing to find out own players, their targets. The number of misplaced passes this season has been obviously telling.

In all honesty will be shocked if Milly dosent start just because Klopp knows them dirt bags across the park will come out and try and kick us off the park again ,
We know what we’re going to get from them and it’s sure not pretty football, we don’t have a Carra , Stevie , or a Suarez to meet it head on , so that onus falls on James I believe ,
Just hope our young uns don’t get a shoeing off them tw*ts.

We simply cant lose to this lot we must win at all costs having been beaten by UTD losing to them is not an option. I guess Milner does make sense as he will leave his mark on them.starting line up will be interesting

Likely be same again but with Milly in for Hendo. Nunez will be held back. Gordon is their flavour of the month, I mean good to see a local lad coming through, he's pacy, but he's still a work in progress. Diaz & Mo will score.

      0-2.

Can really only see Milner coming in for Hendo

But it would be the sort of thing Klopp would do and put in Nunez in

If we thought Newcastle wasted time and slowed the game down then wait for what Everton do.
They are like a Diego simeone wannabe club.

I think their will be lots of goals though.
      A classic maybe.

He's got to be fired up and this game could be fire for him! Let him grab a hat trick like Haaland.

They will go down market..as far as Paddy's Market..Lampard knows he can't risk a pure football game. He will chance his arm with new signing Maupay, with Gordon, and Awobi being the front 3.

Did good business getting Connor Coady...daft by Wolves letting him go on loan.

I would play Bobby tomorrow, the form he is showing. I am sure he will be buzzing and fatigue will go out of the window. hope Mo can finally score, anyhow, going for a 2  0 win for the Reds !

Think it will be the same team, the only possible exception being Milner for Hendo. Nunez will feature at some point but I think with Bobby in good form, and when you've had a red like that, you should have to earn your way back. Would you trust Nunez not to front up and deck a few of them? Have him lurking in the tunnel  ;D
