Bringing Tsimikas off for Robbo was one of the most pointless moves as well.

      Your not thick,
I guess both of us are speculating at this point, couple times we had great form but then we had the international break and then we struggled a bit. I’m thinking, the way things are going, if we continue this bad form to the World Cup break, then have a break, we could enter The second part of the season with a little rest and hopefully firing on all cyclinders.

Again, all speculation on my view.
Fair enough....I think we're all just in shock as to how this season has started and we're looking for any factor that might turn it around.

If any team can be allowed a slump its Liverpool who pushed themselves so much to challenge for the title the last few seasons. What if Liverpool had zero injury problems the last few games - we would prob have more points. So that has been an issue - which time is solving. But yes Liverpool has other problems - that high line that everyone tries to exploit, those wide positions for mo and diaz which leaves them isolated, and today expecting elliot and carvalho to control the midfield. the fullbacks, esp trent, are switching off too long in games, especially early on. too many stray passes. maybe klopp needs to mix up formations, a 5-3-2 to let the fullbacks more chances to bomb on, and allow the front three to play closer together. and the players need to get their heads straight - they do seem fatigued mentally. but lets remember pickford made 8 key saves today. thats a lot. give the boys and klopp time to figure it out. (its not healthy to expect a team to win nearly every game for the title)

May be hard to swallow but we just have to face the fact we are a team in kinda a transition right now. New faces have to work into the system.  Injuries don't help. Also the amount of miles on the legs of our senior players over the last 5 years takes it's toll.  Quite a few of players left this past summer (bench included).   We have some real quality youngsters in mid that are just not the final product yet. Yes we should have gotten a quality veteran Mid this summer, but it's too late for that now.

Doesn't look will be challenging for Title .  City will win it by 10-15 probably.  Still massively confident of Top 4. It's a long season.  Don't forget.  World Cup break and all.

Even the dominant  Fergie United teams re-tooled every now and then. It's part of the process.  Right now City are way ahead of us no doubt.

Onwards and upwards, Napoli next week we go again.

Still rather be a Red than a fan  of any other team

      Great perspective

His form dipped as the contract situation developed and became public not sur ehow we get our Mo back but this one isnt the real Mo.
On todays game the positives ...
negatives cant hit a barn door at the moment and ffs Milner is a liability in any position sadly.

Did not see the game, apparently things not going too well. Salah seemingly lost his mojo. I will leave it to the experts ( you lot ! ) to judge the problems of such a slow start this season

his bank account maybe. Mo has been off for some time and I think we a re seeing Sadio was the catalyst for so many good things on the pitch in both attack and defence

There is no point to football if you don't score goals. So the answer to LFC's current problem is score more goals. It is quite simply the only reason to play the game....you can't win if you don't score. ...and if you're paying an attacking player £350K a week he has to contribute more, either setting up goals, or scoring goals.

Always thought, we could rely on Sadio to score, an important goal.

Sadio is badly missed, the midfield is awful and it’s spreading to the defence, we’re a shadow of what we were last season and with Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Brighton come up we need to improve and fast.

Ok, that game was very underwhelming.

We didn't turn up, yes we could have scored a few goals if Pickford's little arms were even littler, but the intensity was never there from us. We are desperately missing Thiago in the middle, todays game needed someone who would dictate the pace of the game at the pace necessary for us. At no point in that game did we look in control.

Our play look laboured and we were exposed time and time again by a counterattack, with simple passes. Jota looked like he could have been a real threat and bringing on Bobby made a big difference. Unfortunately, Nunez was isolated for most of the game. Salah was unlucky not to have scored as was Diaz but their all-round play wasn't good enough.

Klopp picked the right team IMO but the players and made the right subs (maybe not Milner) but the players just weren't at it today. Hopefully bringing off the players we did when we did can put us into good stead against Napoli.

Think Nunez done quite well, had very limited service but his movement was good and he put the defence under pressure a few times. Won the ball back defensively well a few times and of course showed that great piece of control and technique with the shot that got tipped onto the bar. That effort reminded me of the Torres goal vs Blackburn, was very similar. Obviously we he expect to see much more from him but given the overall performance of the team, he done alright.

Most the same stuff highlighted in previous matches was there again today.  Dunno, not annoyed right now tbh, just meh.

Will pick one thing. Front three. Whatever about defense/midfield, forwards HAVE to be more clinical that that. F***ing littlearms can only save what he can reach. Nunez/Diaz/Salah.  350K a week Mo, takin the piss at the minute. If Jota came back would let Mo cool off, that's how poor he is right now imho.    0-0 draw, poor performance BUT the chances were there to win, and the lads are not taking them

Agree, Good clear chances...if they fall to Haarland or Kane, or even Ivan Toni at least one of them goes in. Everton's goal was millimetres from counting, and they hit the post!

Not saying we deserved to win. But the best teams can play crap and still grind out 3 pts. Managed it with the kid Carvahlo the other night at the death. Need more from the 'bigger' players in the final 3rd.
But yea, they could feel unlucky too, maybe can't argue too mich with the draw on the day.

Thought he did well also - going to take a while for him and the three game ban didn’t help but certainl can see what he is going to bring to the team
