Could've been 5 nil on another day.

      Just sayin

Problem is when the chances don't go in especially in first half we start to struggle. Honestly thought it was a disjointed and predictable performance.

Where is that side that got to the Champions league final.....Where?  I'm baffled to be honest.

Still in the Stade de France changies by the looks of it.

Matip is easily bullied and Gomez is awful in the air plus neither vocal enough to play the high line Klopp wants.

Like Robbo was in the lead up to the offside goal!!

the difference in the quality of the two teams was clear in large parts of the game but we haven't got Sadio and effectively we haven't got our best version of Mo that is a massive loss. We need Nunez up and running Diaz at his best and far more creative football from midfield hopefully when we get the lads back and a few good wins under their belts we can kick on but at present its a struggle

He was obstructed, not bullied. Surprised it wasn’t a foul to be honest.

Saw a comment above that robbo replacing tsmikas was pointless but I though Robbo did really well when he came on and we instantly looked better going forward. Thought tsmikas was poor today.

There's defo something a problem there, virtually every game Klopp's changing players in the full back (especially left-back) position.

I actually thought Virgil was excellent today.

He didn’t do an awful lot wrong (Everton didn’t offer much) but he has definitely lost a yard of pace and his presence isn’t as big as it once was.

Couple of seasons ago our back four were invincible almost with him at the heart. Now they look suspect.

I can’t remember the last time I saw him make a recovery by using his pace. It’s gone. He used to be rapid and as quick as any forward out there.

Watch it again. Can’t remember who it was, McNeil maybe? Robbo is trying to get around him to close the ball and he is purposely blocked off. Whats he supposed to do? Throw him to the floor and give a pen away? It was clear obstruction.

      Our next 5 fixtures:

Wolves: A team that we struggled against and won by miracle last season.

Chelsea: A team that we cannot beat away at full power.

Brighton: A team that beat us at Anfield and exposed our midfield.

Arsenal: A team that is an excellent form.

      City: No comments.

All those games are insanely hard and we are bound to drop points in at least 2 games here if not more.

Paterson. He uses strength to get in front of Robbo.

And don't get me started on his jogging back when Everton were breaking.

He’s clearly blocking off robertson so he can’t close the ball down though, robertson even try’s to move around him and he moves with him to block his path, which is clear obstruction ha ha.

      We've only played 6 games....recharge what?

This year 2022 of games we have had at the roller coaster finish we had to almost win all 4 trophies. Personal that last game of the season against wolves and keeping tabs on the city game took 5 years off my life. Then some of the players had international games after the CL final. They look absolutely empty of ideas, speed, cohesion. Again just my opinion Z

In these type of matches we need players who can score from outside the box like a bullet with accuracy. I can not point to one player in our team who are capable of doing this. Even if they try almost each time they end up by the corner flag.

I mean Trent, Harvey and Diaz all did it just a couple of games ago.

clearly we are playing terribly, but i do wonder how city arsenal spurs etc would get on without 5 midfielders...even city would find that tricky.

Few and far between, I am afraid. This type of matches was crying out for one of those bullets, from no where.

Struggling to find our rhythm. In this type of game we needed a bit of class or a lucky break. Desperately need our absentees to return, Thiago especially.

Heard it was dead leg and wasn't serious which is good news though to be honest he was pretty poor the half he played. Sure he will get some more starts down the road.

think we need to be patient with Fabio and Harvey although Harvey is showing the benefit of his longer experience at Liverpool.
