That was miserable.

Diaz played well, Elliott and Thiago done alright. Ali done what he could. Everyone else was sh*te.

Artur looks very slow, night just be me but he looks a bit cumbersome.

Ambling. Doesn't look fit but nor does he look like the type to bust a gut to win the ball back. Worrying.


Overall abysmal stuff. Diaz was the only real shining light bar a couple of good saves from Ali. Trent, Joe, Milner, Mo absolute sh*te! Jota anonymous when he came on. Darwin made no impact. Gutted.

on that evidence why would pundits say we should still qualify from this group. Some players look like heavyweight boxers who have had one to many hard bouts

So - we got taken apart. This is our 4th successive defeat in Naples.
We played utter garbage and some looked like they wanted to be doing anything except wearing a red shirt. The team look spent, disjointed and completely devoid of ideas, passion and desire. Napoli played in the first half like we used to.
We were far better with Matip and Thaigo on the pitch but to be honest we got completely what we deserved. Some one here calling out Elliot. He's a young lad and whether you think he's good enough or not at least he tried tonight.
The question is now  - Where do we go from here? Top 4 looks unreachable the way we are playing.

Don't think Ali did much wrong he himself has started to come right out of th ebox because he has lost faith in the back four not sure where we go from here having just been twatted

Combination of having Thiago, Matip on the pitch, and Napoli taking their foot of the gas at 4-1, but either way that was a much improved last 30mins.

No way should Gomez or Milly be allowed to start another game for us. Shocking.

He did all he could mate and was left exposed several times and had to come right out of  his box to clear the ball

Helped establish some order in our play, I agree, but the damage was already done and Napoli took their foot off the gas so things could only improve.

There's  a lot of finger pointing to be done and arses to be kicked,whether it will do any good remains to be seen. There is no way we should be getting these type of performances from this squad,hopefully it will change once the injuries have cleared up. It looks as if we'll be playing catch up for the rest of the season.
