Minimal changes.  Matip for Joe, which was expected.  Tsimi for Robbo due to injury.  Thiago and Jota return from injury.  TAA retains his place, indicating that Jürgen prioritizes his attacking output over defensive reliability. 

To me, this isn't a "reinvention"

Hoping we can get the win and gain some confidence in doing so. 

Would love to see Darwin partner Jota up top for some portion of the match.

Good to see Thiago back in the side. I have a feeling it will make all the difference tonight. Bench is actually reasonably stacked. COYR

same old same old which has been very very good for us but not what Jürgen indicated maybe reflection and talking to players has given him the confidence to trust them again.

They may play amazingly tonight, but on the face of it Trent and Salah should be dropped! They need to be told that they don't deserve to be in the team each week. Regardless of how bad they play, how lazy and unbothered they are, they start every match!! 

I don't care who plays in their place. They need to be taught a lesson. Can't believe they just stroll into the starting 11 yet again after the recent horror shows.

Jota, time for you to shine

Great to see Jota start again. A lot of pressure on him to perform already due to the misfiring displays of our other attackers but have big faith in Diogo.

For once, I agree with you! But for every justification of dropping them there's every chance that they might just find that sweet spot again. Crikey - if they misfire badly again tonight then it will start to look bad on Jürgen. Given how much they've contributed its only natural that they get the chances they've earnt...but how many is too many?

Just get ya fingers out lads and give us the win we need, show the fans what your made of and give us a performance.

No Nunez, I would have played him before Jota or instead of Salah

Sometimes you have to hope they have listened and reflected and put it right. Good to see Jota and Thiago back and options off the bench

I hope if Thiago can’t play the 90 then Klopp brings on Arthur and not Milner.

3 points and a much improved performance please reds ,off home from my jollies tomorrow & I want to be boarding the  plane with a big F**k off smile on my face.

No Gomez or Milner, Thiago in the middle, can only improve things.
TAA though gets away with recent performances, and surprised no Nunez, know he's not been great, but I'd go with him ahead of Jota, thought Diogo looked a bit rusty, hope he proves me wrong.
Salah too gets another start, another who needs to do and show a LOT more.

Like already said, can't see the reinvention.  Lot riding on Thiago.

Hope the lads can get a result, another performance like Napoli won't do anyone much good.
