No f**king about, confident performance and 3 points. Far too many players have been well off their usual standard for far too long, 3 weeks away from a match with the club and a chance to sort their sh*t out and start delivering.

Priority has to be a clean sheet, we've got to cut out this giving cheep goals away. We are having to work so hard to get back level. So, much tighter at the back with power and aggression going forward should get the job done.

This. As much as Brighton are a great team and I respect them, this is an opportunity to really put them to the sword.

Think Melo has been working on his fitness during this break, It's a chance for him to show he really wants it. I'm not convinced and I like many others will give him credit if and when he puts in a shift. Drifting in and out the way he has done isn't enough.

Diaz has to be encouraged to cut inside. This is his trademark, drop his shoulder and cut across the defender to his right looking for the shooting chance. Robbo or Timmy cut down the left pulling defenders with them, Diaz cuts inside, and blast one...top corner..1-0..

Maybe he did that so he COULD start for us Saturday.

Interesting to see who starts on Saturday, really think Nunez should be in the starting line up, needs a goal or two. Think Salah & Diaz will also start. Important to score an early goal, also nice to have Matip alongside Virgil in defence.

I’m hoping Jota is fit and gets the start. Started to look a bit more like LFC in the last match vs Ajax. Incorporating Nunez looks like a real work in progress to me. Give me the interchange and movement we saw with Jota, Luis and Mo all day long

Agree...He's looked lively enough, but could do with affecting the game a bit more, both going forward and defensively...Not getting on his case, he's only just breaking through, but it is about influencing the result at the end of the day.

Just so glad the reds are back. It wouldn’t matter who we are playing, a win is a must to get the confidence up and some momentum going.

Not always easy to predict Klopps line up. After most played in the break, a lot will depend on how they trained or come back with the odd little knock here and there. Jota complained of fatigue, probably due to lack of match fitness. Few came back on long haul flights. Rangers on Tuesday and that's a must win, so that will be considered.

So we could do with a comfy win.
