Who to replace Trent? If no one available... then no one.

Play 10 men instead. It's just as effective.  :f_tongueincheek:

4-2-4. Very attacking line up. Hendo & Thiago in mid. Not the most mobile so the Boss thinks thinks Rangers will have no answers to the attacking frenzie.

2-0 was my guess but if it works could be 5-6-7..

It seems like we are going into this one with a 4-2-3-1. Ideally, I would love Salah to be the one in the hole (incredibly underrated playmaker), but we have nobody to play RW other than him so the next best thing if you happen to be rotating (giving a rest to Bobby) is to play Jota in that position and bank on him making smart runs and combining with Nunez rather than expecting creativity from him. For those thinking ''why not Diaz in the 10'', IMO he does not have that creative flair Bobby or Salah possess and he needs tons of vertical space to run into. For those asking why not Jota as a RW and Mo as the 10, the answer is Jota performs best in the middle or coming from the left and cutting into the middle, anything else and his numbers are much less impressive.

I still think the creative element of our game will be expected to come from the right flank, mainly Salah and TAA. I expect to see Mo receiving the ball on that right flank, cutting into the center and dispatching through balls to Jota, Nunez and Diaz. Will be interesting to see which runs Jota and Nunez respectively make. I also expect Thiago and Hendo to have much more defensive duties tonight and I believe TAA might be given the simple task of creating from the right flank without adventuring into the middle of the park. Him adventuring high up the pitch  and into the middle of it has not been working with a 3 men midfield so I dont expect the gaffer to try it with even less cover in that area of the pitch.

      Ben Davies part two.

How has Trent survived the axe? Salah too.

If we beat Rangers I'll still wait until Arsenal before I start handing out flowers
