A Liverpool team on form wins that 6-0

Beat them away and then draw at Ajax. Job done.

Little taste of our issues once Rangers brought on some speed down the wings.

Not convinced the balance is right. At Ibrox if they go 4 at the back and Sacala wide and Colak central they can still get at us.

Thankfully GVB went defensively tonight and allowed us to dictate.

Solid enough performance and deserved the points although we should have scored more.

Still going to need to find a significantly higher level on Sunday if we want to get anything at Arsenal.

10 attempts on target with 24 shots, just shows how blunt we are at the moment

Mate, they are a league 1 side in reality. We just needed to win and move on....We will hopefully be in better mental health when we go there, after deflating the Arsenal bullshit.

pleased to see Joel and Jordan today cover when Trent got forward as it should be Trent hit the byeline more than any other player and you cant defend when you have just ran 70 yards . Today Hendo and Joel had his back

Good performance from the lads.  Very important three points in terms of the group stage.   

Still work to do but thought Nunez and Diaz were both a constant menace.

Not sure tonight's performance would be good enough for three points away at Arsenal at the weekend but it's a step in the right direction - definitely in terms of pressing the opposing team.

They'll be playing to stay in the competition (or possibly even European football full stop) so it will be much more of a test than tonight.

If they come at us Mo,Darwin,Jota and Luis will have a lot more space to work in they have 5 and 6 at the back at times and McGregor  was awesome

Trent was better scored a great goal but had a little more help tonight
