Pre Match: Arsenal v Liverpool - Sunday 9th October, 4:30pm
      Oct 07, 2022 03:14:13 pm
I think it’s safe to assume that losing or even drawing this would be catastrophic considering our league form.

Arsenal flying with Jesus up top who by the way has a good record against us.

Emmanuel Petite in the media lately absolutely slating us and Trent - put those quotes on the changing room wall Jürgen!

Have we won away from home this season? I’m not sure we have. Can see this being a horrible game unfortunately, however you never know - could this be the moment we finally click?

Midfield is key here, can’t let Arsenal breath. Front three need to press, and be clinical in front of goal. It’s going to be a tough one.

We can get something here. We have to stay tight, defend as a team but hit them fast and hard when we get a chance. I'd start Nunez.

      1-2.

The arse will come at us at 100 miles an hour, we better be prepared or it will be like Brighton only far worse as arsenal are much better and far more attacking players. Klopp joked about a 4-6 formation it might not be a bad idea. :D

Certainly a hard game but I don’t think Arsenal are as good as where they are, hopefully we will be the ones to find them out

Hang on lads, who the F**k are Arsenal ?  Arteta has them purring for sure but C’mon we all know on our day we would wipe the floor with them, or any other Cnut for that matter, yes we’re having a bit of a mare season of late but I felt we had turned a corner V Brighton and further round it V Rangers, with a slight tweak using 4-2-3-1,
Arteta has a problem, cos he doesn’t know which Liverpool is likely to turn up, his charges impressive as they have been, know only one way of playing, and have yet to be tested properly with a like minded attacking side,

If your Arteta, how many eggs will you put in your attacking basket, if he decides to go gung ho and attack us Willy Nilly he’ll get his fingers burnt, and he knows it, I’m hoping he does so we could see a goal fest, if and only if we play 4-2-3-1, tbh, going back to 4-3-3 I think we’ll get slaughtered, Arse have rumbled others setting up against this formation and I feel we’d play into their hands if we did,

So for me we fight fire with fire and see who comes out on top, we have to take the game to them and psychologically put them in their place, for me this is a free hit, no one is expecting us to win, everyone will want us to lose, if we win it’s another step in the right direction, if we lose it’s probably the end of our title challenge for this season, nobody wants that obviously but it is what it is and no point crying over it, we just get on with it, keep winning and see where we end up, this season is already a F**k up what with the Dodgy WC bollocks, most top sides will have their rhythm totally fu**ed over the WC break so anything can happen??

                                                                   Allison
                                                      Trent   Matip Virgil Kostas
                                                            Hendo    Fabinho
                                                        Salah     Jota     Diaz
                                                                    Nunez

Bench; Adrian, Gomez, Konate, Elliot, Thiago, Bajcetic, Bobby, Milner, Ramsey, Raisbeck

Torn between Thiago and Fab, went for Fab for extra protection, and introducing a fresh legged Thiago against tiring gooner legs could prove a master stroke, especially if it’s as tight as a mermaids hymen or in need of a deciding factor, Bobby on too would be advantageous probably for Jota, and Elliot could also prove useful last 15 or so,

Not many will fancy us taking anything from the Emirates but not f***in me, like I mentioned we’ve turned a corner, it’s up to us now and I think we will deliver a nice kick up Arteta’s scrotum!!

      2-3 Mighty Redmen

Not pictured in training but hopefully just a case of us wrapping him in cotton wool as Klopp didn't mention an injury in his press conference earlier.

We win this. All the torment from the deserved criticism will be brought down upon the Gunners with great vengeance and furious anger, and those who attempt to poison and destroy all that is holy upon the high alter of the Kop....and you will know my name is Klopp when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Three glorious goals for us and a pitiful zero for them......C'Mon

I think we’re gonna come out high press high tempo and turn these over.
Their recent form, our indifferent start and them at home. They gonna be so confident, even complacent.
Think they gonna get a big shock at a rejuvenated Liverpool and we will go on and win 1:2

Not in training which with one session would suggest to me possibly.  Maybe his individual  training programme who knows . Just hope he can make it bit if not will Fab and Hendo work in new system?

Gonna be interesting to see how we setup. Could it be an counter attack team. Hit em on the break.

Really fancy us to shock a few folk and put in an overdue masterclass.

I desperately hope he can make it to. If Fab snd Hendo sitting deep is the answer, I don’t think young Harvey is a strong enough option to replace Tiago. Not sure if anyone else who would fit in there is fit 🤷‍♂️

I also think Bob should be involved at some stage with the form he’s in. But not just a 5 min cameo.
Subs used to be included in the 90 mins, but refs add on time for subs now, so unless they are given time to make an impact, (20 mins at least) it’s a wasted exercise.

And me Em’ I’ve gone for 1-2 as clean sheets seem to be difficult for us at the mo. Always hoping though 👍
