Absolutely chuffed as F**k Thiago starts, looking like Jürgen’s sticking with a 4-2-3-1 which bodes well not only for the rest of this season but for Darwin’s goal scoring stats, I’m not gonna keep harping on about why, but anyone with a modicum of grey matter will see why we would buy a talented fella like Darwin and form a system to suit not only himself but the current format with the relevant twist,
As I alluded to in the pre match thread Arteta now has a bit of of chin rubbing dilemma, all week he’d have been mulling over how to set up against us, and with us using the new set up just once V Rangers, will have more than likely set up to counter our usual 4-3-3, well F**k you Captain Scarlet, Jürgen’s mentality monsters are more than a match for your mysterons,
Only thing I thought we lacked V Rangers was pace, if we can up the tempo V Arse I think they’ll struggle to cope with the intensity, tbf to them they’ve been easy on the eye but no one has pressed them the way we will, so I think we have the upper hand here, and could prove the difference in the end,
I can see goals a plenty today perhaps something like a 3-4, but if I’m honest equally happy with a scrappy 0-1, just the three points please, however they come about!!
