No idea what team will be surely Hendo and Thiago will.be rested . Ibou,Bobby,Fabto come in , Harvey, Joe and Milner . Carvalho could also start
Maybe this then ? Im leaving Jota out as I reckon he needs to be wrapped in cotton wool while he gets upto to full match fitness, folk forget hes hardly kicked a ball for months.------------------- Ali ---------------- Gomez - Konate - VVD - Kostas ---------- - Fab - Milner --------- - Elliott - Bobby - Carvalho --------------- Nunez ------------
Carvalho in please. Didn't think this lot were any good last week so worth getting some minutes into players. Can't say I'm excited to set foot in Ibrox.
Start with a strong line up, nail it early on, then control it and bring on fresh legs. Don't want any drama obviously so kill it as early as possible.Mo, Nunez,Bobby,Jota....backed up by Fabinho and Thiago..
Sounds the right combination to see off Rangers early on, a couple of early goals would be an ideal start. Bobby in good form recently !
Bobby with 6 league goals to lead the team. 350K Salah tied with Carvalho with 2 goals each. Yikes.
Going to watch the game in the local tomorrow night. Despite our poor run of form and terrible run of injuries, I am quite looking forward to the game. Follow the Reds through good and bad times !
Whatever the lineup its going to be interesting. I dont see Bobby on the bench. I think he's gonna start. Probably something with Bobby-Jota-Elliot and Nunez. Salah probably coming off the bench late.Backline Gomez-Konate-VVD-Tsimikasand probably Thiago-Fab/Hendo?Listen. Its not our year. Were certainly fighting for top 4. Injuries are killing us and we seem to have the "Yips". Which is a Baseball term. Meaning we got something mental getting in our way. Dont know the answer but the tendency of giving up these early, stupid goals is textbook "Yips".
Yips is golf, baseball probably stole the patter. l o l
I always thought the yips was a wrist issue? Just that it is common in golf (putting).
See our glorious FA have given Antony Taylor the refereeing job on Sunday….another controversial VAR decision coming our way
Manchester ref reffing a Manchester team!Sounds about right for the FA
Can't see Jürgen not going strong for this game.Important 3 points, would take a chunk of pressure off for the remaining CL games.Would expect 2 from Fab/Hendo/Thiago, with maybe Elliot or Carnvahlo. AllyGomez Konate VVD Kostas Elliot Fab Hendo Salah Jota NunezWith Diaz out, reckon Nunez might be better coming in off the left with Jota or Bob through the middle.
Just don’t concede a goal in the first 5 min 🙄
Its Baseball too. NY Yankees had a player called Chuck Knoblauch who played 2nd base. Out of nowhere, he couldn't make a throw to 1st base. Every time the ball was hit to him he couldn't throw it to first base. He would miss the 1st baseman every time. He was one of the best players in Baseball. Multiple All-Star, Gold Glove winner. He never recovered. He retired a few years later. He eventually played LF but his career was over. One day he was fine. The next he couldn't throw 60ft.
can you name a ref you would be comfortable with because I can't they are just not up to the job
We will bounce back with a win tonight.
Any chance of Ramsey starting today? He will have played against Rangers before so know what to expect
Joe Gomez looked good when he came on. Is he more settled at right back than in the centre. Right back defending is a bit more defined in a way and that I think helps Joe with his decision making. So with Trent on the sick and Konate back that side should be strong enough and we will hopefully see better defending than of late.
Anyway back to the job in hand..is 'e gunner throw the numbers in the air and come down with some 4-2-3-1 stuff again..
Expecting a couple of goals from us in this one, I think Nunez will get another!Come on reds, we might be out of the PL race but this is still up for grabs!Let's go!
One thing is clear -- we need to pick a formation and tactical setup and stick to it. If 4-2-3-1 is the intended plan to move forward (and I think it likely is), then he needs to pick the players we have available based on the long-term plan. With that said, I think there are a couple of options here. 1. Fabio comes in for Diaz and plays on the left with Jota as the #102. Same as above, but Fabio plays the #10 and Jota pushes to LW/LF3. Harvey comes in for Diaz and plays the #10 with Jota shifting to LW/LF (I'm betting on this one)At the back, it has to be Gomez for Trent. AliGomez - Matip - VVD - TsimiFab - ThiagoMo - Harvey - JotaNunez
these f***in muppet journos and experts need putting back in their box. Hamman saying Jürgen should be sacked and f***in Murphy the Talk sport lacky defending him because Jürgen snapped back. Time for Jürgen to start acting like Pep and stop engaging with the horrible fuckers they annoy the sh*t out of me.Any hoo 3-1 tonight.
Matip injured mate. I'm not a fan of the 4231.
Rather a 4-2-1-3 with thiago slightly advanced of fab/hendo or a 433. Nunez or Bob between salah and Jota.
I guess we will see tonight eh 😀
Just watched it now, f*cking embarrassing the way they ask questions, parroting quotes from Hamann and the like. A bit of respect wouldn't go amiss. These are the times that try men's souls. The boss deserves our fullest support.
Don't want us needing something against napoli in that last match. Need to get the job pretty much done tonight
Maybe if we all don't watch the first 5 minutes, we won't concede?
