      Fabinho - snail’s pace
      Thiago - snail’s pace
Henderson - never ever a quality midfielder - Championship quality - to put it mildly.
Van Dijk- Everton killed him - will never be how he was before THAT game.
Salah - too predictable- no plan B

Last few years we got away with it because of Klopp.

      Simple facts ….

The game goes two ways, we get blown away or we blow them away.

We can do this, we just need to go for them at the start and put their defence under real pressure before they do the same to us.

      Come on reds!

Apparently the bookies have removed the bet for the side to concede first.

Vital we do not concede an early goal, or we will really be up against the wall. Time to come good, put in a performance and show City we are no pushovers !

People whinging about Milner lack of pace but then putting Fab at CB against Haaland oh the irony

Fabinho has looked like he's running in treacle all season. Milner will have to play right back. Only other option I see is tsimikas moving over.

I'd sit the midfield 3 a little deeper ... protect the back 4 and limit the space in between the defence and midfield ... if we don't we just play into their hands.

We won't be dominating possession against these. We need to frustrate them ... keep it tight and use it well when we get it by looking for salah/Jota over the top into the space behind or getting Bob on the ball. Robbo hopefully will provide some spark down the left

Apparently Konate was not due to train on Friday as part of his rehab following his injury I hope this is correct it will be a massive boost for us to see the big man out there.

Interesting Walt. I remember reading a while back ( allegedly) over 20 players were on asthma related medication due to being asthmatic. I know chances are it’s the usual bullsh!t media. Did you heard anything about it at the time and could this have any effect on how their performing?

Oh F**k off with that asthmatic sh*t.

Been listening to too many bitter Evertonians.

If he plays I'd say that would be our best chance.

If he's out as well, I won't really fancy our chances.

Fook knows how we managed 3 champ league finals, a league title and three 90+ league seasons with a championship quality midfielder as the mainstay in our midfield and the skipper.

      What a dick.

Yes I agree just think if they score early it would be a blow not sure could recover from . Think we will need 3 at least to win

I dont think that’s ironic. He’s a clever player, he reads the game well. I remember worrying when we played the chavs a couple of seasons back as Werner was playing well but he bossed it. It wouldn’t be ideal but I’d rather see him at CB than Milner at RB. It’s harder to cover up a lack of pace at fb imo, particularly when you are already playing so far up the pitch and Milner would get himself booked within 30 minutes and be on a tightrope all game.

Fingers crossed Konate is fit and it’s all speculation anyway.

Could be all irrelevant as you say. Can look at it two ways with pace backing Milner up behind or pace at FB with Gomez but lack of it behind . Whatever selected we run with 🤞
