Almighty stroke probably - and I'm not far behind him to be honest.  :o

Simply put - I don't get it, the entire team sheet. But Jürgen is far more intelligent than I am and I have full faith in him. He's the master

Milner at RB not ideal but not much option.

Looks like back to a midfield 3 to me to combat City being strong through the middle

When I said it had to be milner at right back I also said the midfield 3 needed to sit abit deeper with the idea of closing the space but also to make sure Henderson who would be on the right of the midfield 3 would be close to milner to help him.

We end up with Henderson, our captain on the bench ... at home against man city.

I find it bizarre that someone can be fit for the bench but not to start. This should be one of those were trent is in jurgens ear to start. It's a massive game. I don't get it.

Front 3 as expected really. Jota and Salah looked sharp on Wednesday so hopefully that continues. Bobby deserved to keep his place. Darwin will have to be patient ... study the game and how he can affect it when he comes on.

Crowd needs to be up for it today. Anfield had been like a library this season. Let's get right behind them and be all over city's players. Let's make it hostile and intimidating.

We need to use our experience. We need to use our heads. We need to concentrate and not switch off. Let's start on the front foot and be positive but ffs not wide open. Looking for some individual brilliance today from our front 3 and thiago.

Pearce said he picked it up in training on Thursday. It just confuses me how a lad who has been out as long as konate has ... plays 90 minutes at rangers and is then training on Thursday. Surely recovery should have been the order of the day ... maybe train Friday.

Whatever the case .... i wouldn't expect to see him playing again for 2/3 weeks. Almost be world Cup time.

these are supposed to be constantly monitored by "experts"  far too often we see players come back and get injured straight away something is wrong here.

Milner at right back...well his experience should get him through but he'll need serious back up..is Elliott the best choice for that.

TBH would've preferred the 4-2-3-1 attack with Nunez and just go for it. Elliott did well V Rangers but he had his own post code to look good in. We simply have to defend as a team, press and chase them down.

       Looking to Mr.Mo to show.

I can't keep up with our injuries and the length of absence. Thought Trent was supposed to be out for a few weeks?

Henderson on the bench is the big surprise for me. Must be carrying a knock?

Bit worried about this one. They are in way better form anyway obviously, but injuries in defence and midfield have left us looking very threadbare.

      Exactly mate.

We need to be 100% on our game today. Our big players, VVD, Fabinho, thiago ... all need to be at their best.

Ali will be busy today. He's been fine this season but we will need him today.

The front 3 obviously need big games. They need to be clinical.

If we play to our best we have a chance. If we play as we have this season and city play as they have or close to it ... we're in trouble.

Let's get behind. Crowd can make a big difference. We're with them.

his experience is second to none but his legs have long gone a remarkable career but putting him up against Foden is like a reoccurring nightmare remember last time
