In light of the fantastic performance against City we can’t afford to drop any pts here and neither should we against a Moysey team!

I would imagine Jota will be out for a few weeks so does Nunez start up front with Salah in the hybrid 442 or do we go back to the 4231.

One thing for sure we won’t get as much space behind as we did against City so will need to be patient.
Jimmy probably can’t play this soon so Trent should be back.

Will we see the likes of Curtis start?

Id say stick with 4-4-2 for now, need to stay solid & get a run of clean sheets to get the confidence back, we still have plenty in attack to beat these.

If Curtis is fit you could go 4 2 3 1 with him on the left.

      Henderson    Fabinho

      Elliott        Salah        Jones

      Nunez

Have to start Thiago, he’ll absolutely dominate this game.

Then take him off if we’re winning at 60

Wondered why this wasn't live on Sky then realised all the premiership games are on Amazon Prime this week.

After our exploits against city at the weekend, I'm excited to see how we perform against the hammers, 2 points behind us but have played a game more, we should have too much for them being at home.

So let's hope for 3 more points to move us further up the table.

Interesting to see him Trent comes back in and who plays LW.

Could Trent move forward keep Milner at RB for now ?

Probably Carvalho at LW, but also could throw a curveball and play different formation have Nunez coming in off the left, Salah or Bobby down the middle ?

      Wee Harvey Right wing.

      Options options..

Would like to see Carvalho in. Keep Milner RB and push Trent forward.

Nunez did enough V City to get a start. Was probably a bit anxious to prove himself and as a result didn't play in Jota or Mo when they were better placed.

Jones if he starts has to get more involved, make his case for a place. but I think Elliott has done enough to hold his place.

      Ali, Trent, Joe,VVD,Robbo,Elliott,Fabinho,Thiago, Mo,Bobby,Nunez.

Wish ppl would stop putting Trent in midfield, he’s not a midfielder ffs, he’s a rwb, that’s his f***in job, thought we stopped putting square pegs in round holes after Woy weft,

Gutting regards Jota, just when we had found solutions up front we get kicked in the bawbag, out now until after the WC, just what we f***in needed, losing 50% of your attack on the periphery of a potential top 4 target run is tbf a bit of a kunt,

Dunno how long Diaz is out but another injury to a key player puts serious doubts on finishing top 4, just can’t catch a break can we ?

      Anyhoo I’d go thus V Hammers……….

Jota 8 weeks or so. Diaz still another 6-8 weeks. Down to 4 with Mo, Bobby,Nunez and Carvalho. Down to the bone, pick up another injury and we'll be screwed. That old croc Milly could play left wing or even Elliott I suppose. Still one or two walking wounded and this month is intense.

Just get away with a comfy win with no more going on the sick.

No way milner plays twice in 4 days.

Can see hendo coming in for one of the mids and nunez or cavalho replacing diogo.

Hopefully 3 points and moving up the table. If we are focused and ready like Sunday we will win the game.

West ham, forest and Leeds. Let's build up clean sheets and let's build the blocks of 3.

Bob dropping off can make a diamond and allow salah and nunez to be central and the full backs pushing forward or can be a straight 433

West ham, forest and Leeds. Let's build up clean sheets and let's build the blocks of 3.

Millie is one of the fittest players in the squad, but I agree that it seems unlikely that he will play another 90 so quickly after the City match.  So, I think that means Trent back in at RB for this one.

Jota's injury is a real kick in the teeth.  It's either Nunez or Fabio on for him.  Fabio would be the more creative option, while Darwin would be the more physical presence.  Personally, I expect West Ham to defend deep and narrow, so we may benefit by having a bigger and more athletic presence in the penalty box.  For that reason, I'd go with Darwin.

I expect Thiago will be rotated out as he played the full 90 against City.

      Ali
      TAA - Joel - VVD - Robbo
      Fab
      Harvey - Hendo
      Mo - Bob - Darwin

I'm going for another 1-0 win for the reds.  Darwin to score a back-post header.

If we can start and finish with the same passion and energy, we should beat these, and then keep the same attitude for the rest of the season, home and away. We wont be far from the top come may, if not on it.

That was such a terrific performance on Sunday, I almost feel cheated for the previous games we had to endure.

This looks like a good shout Harry. As long as harvey does the covering work when Trent ventures forward, it'll be great. Ive gone  3-0

I think the expectation on all of the lads needs to be that we sprint back to defend against the counter.  We've been such a solid defensive unit over the past few years, but this season we've been far too lazy and passive in our defending against counter attacks.  Harvey just showed that he can do it against City, Bobby is renowned for his defending from the front, and we've even seen that Darwin is very willing to put in the work on the defensive side of the ball.  If we can get the right focus and determination from everyone on that side of the game, then I fancy us to win most matches.
