Hard fought win, but take it!

Good header by Nunez, could of had a hat-trick but for a good save and the post.

Cracking save by Ali from the pen.

      Move on to Forest.

That’s a strange take - he would be a great fit for our middle

We won't be signing him, said for ages he will end up at Man U or Chelsea.

I liked the win, didn't like them outplaying us second half though especially since it's a Moyes team, the reason I say that isn't because he's ex Everton it's because look at his facial mannerisms, he's obviously a nark and I feel sorry for his family, with him rich and imagine them having to put up with that snarly face all the time.
Grinding out the results again huh, against 'best team in the world' and now West spam, I've actually always liked West Ham a bit but while Moyes is there, they're called West Spam now.

I like spam so now I don't want to call them that, expensive these days the al spam though.

What exactly does Jordan do? I am struggling to understand, doesn’t this guy do a bit of shooting practice? He wastes each time he attempts to shoot from outside the box. His crosses are also pathetic.

Nunez and Alisson won us the match with the help of Henderson and Thiago.

The subs did not work and lost control of the match but I understand why they were done.

Yes, Nunez and Alisson have been very good. TAA is a vulnerability, he simply needs to improve his defending. He's more of a liability today than an asset.

Our issue is the attack. We should have scored at least one more but with Nunez, Fimino and Salah on the same team, there's not enough balance. Nunez wants to score ASAP, Salah too and Firmino is being more direct than usual now that he's scoring more, the strikers are not combining enough. It's worrying.

This level of performance won't be enough.

I don’t. If we were 2or3 up, fine. But all it seems to do is unsettle the side, create uncertainty and put us under pressure. Surely you get the game won first, which is where it was heading pre subs. Then we lost the midfield and struggled to hang on. I don’t remember us creating many goal scoring chances in the second half, and the fluency going forwards seemed to deminish hugely.

Main thing all three points in a hard fought win against West Ham. Cracking goal from Nunez, who also hit the post. Need more consistency, to move up the table.

Klopp explained, they were taken off as a precaution to not get anymore injuries.

I was expecting subs on 60mins, we have a lunchtime game saturday, so probably was planned anyway.

I think Rice would be a perfect fit.

We should be going for Rice and Bellingham. That would be perfect. Just spend the f**king £200m to get them in

The subs were a setback, of course you can't know that before they come on. I'd have left Nunez on, he was at it more than I'd seen before. Second half, Bobby had a shot, which was on target and I think going in before being blocked out for a corner.
The second clean sheet (just) on the bounce was a relief.

That's the new thing to cry about until the next game. Reckon a big part of that crowd is the same people that praises and justifies that type of stuff when its a Ramos type of player that does it even going to the extent of calling ''black arts'' a player injury another to take him out of the game and seeing no problem with it. The rest of that crowd, even if not as daft as those I just described, certainly wouldn't bat an eye if a player from their own team did it.

Go on Virgil! You xenophobe! ;D

Considering they have hardly played together a bit of misunderstanding is expected. Think the signs are great. Mo back in the groove, probably past his very best but still a formidable force, Bobby doing well, scored a few. As for Nunez he looks the part, pace, trick or two, good in the air, vicious shot. I'll bet the Boss is delighted with Nunez after his iffy start.

So we go to Forrest full of confidence, back in contention for the top 4. On the up & up.

the problem for Joe again was Trent going AWOL.

AWOL? Nah, you just don't understand that Trent doesn't do positions..  :f_tongueincheek:
