Pre-Match: Nottingham Forest v LFC (Sat 22 Oct 12:30pm)

Our first league game against Forest since 1999.  We did of course play them earlier this year in the FA Cup.  We managed to eek out a 1-0 win that day and I'd hope we can do better tomorrow but will equally take a 1-0 to follow on from the last two 1-0's.

Oxlade-Chamberlain returned to the bench midweek, Curtis Jones came on.  Robertson should be ready to start again.  Naby Keita not ready.

I wonder at what point we’ll struggle to put out a recognised forward. We’ll have Matip and Konate up front (if they’re fit that is).

Holy F**k. When will this end ?

Probably hold Nunez back just in case, can't risk anymore serious injuries. Thought Forrest would've done better, still present a challenge and we better be on it from the off.

Expect us to win, even with our never ending injuries. Score early it could be a rout, going for a 3  0 win against Forest. Certainly need to pick up all three points to maintain our winning run !

Other than that hopefully it’s just a bit of pain with Nunez and he’s fit to start or even be on the bench. Good chance for him to get a run of games.

I think Thiago being taken off before an hour in midweek suggests he's going to start tomorrow.

Only about 4 or 5 or so who can be relied on to stay injury free. Never known a squad which is so frail injury wise. Boss is pulling players to prevent further injuries. World cup is a blessing in disguise for us. Staggering from one week to the next trying to grind out results. Get to the World cup knackered and pull up the rocking chair.

They say there's no easy games....Well that might be true, but looking at Our squad and with Forrest anchored at the foot of the table, this should be a comfortable win. Play like we did against City and it's 3 points.
